Story
Stroller king coming through! Opus is ready to turn heads with you as he takes on the world from his chariot. Whether it’s a trip to the beach, a brewery patio hang, or a walk (on wheels) around the neighborhood, Opus just loves to be invited. And he creates a fan club no matter where he goes. When he’s not winning friends and influencing people on his many adventures, Opus is a dog of simple pleasures at home. He loves to snuggle with his foster family, join in on kitchen dance parties, and sunbathe. He lives with other large dogs who he loves to play and rest with, and he has even paid it forward by being a big brother to many little foster puppies throughout his time in our program. About that stroller: Opus had a rough start to his life and sustained some injuries that have reduced his mobility. He’s able to get around the house, but will need your help with a few daily activities. And Opus does have some preferences about architectural design—due to his mobility, he would prefer a home with minimal stairs and a yard for his lounging pleasures. If life alongside one of the most charming and resilient dogs in town sounds like your style, Opus would love to meet you.

Story
Meet Brooks! This handsome 3-year-old Dogo Argentino came into a Northern California shelter with his brother Dunn (yes, Brooks & Dunn, but no country songs required here ). While Dunn found his path, Brooks waited patiently for over a year until a kind foster opened their home to him. Now, thanks to DC Dogos, Brooks officially has a chance to find his forever family. Brooks is the total package: Trained & Polite – Crate trained, housebroken, walks nicely on leash, and knows his basic obedience. Talented – Can catch treats mid-air like a pro and enjoys puzzles, nose work, and enrichment games. Playful & Goofy – Loves tossing his stuffies in the air, catching them, and zooming around proudly. He’ll even “bite the air” when he’s feeling silly. Loving Companion – Cuddles, kisses, and snuggles are his specialties. He plays well with balanced female dogs and takes good care of his toys. Adventure-Ready – Loads into the car easily and is a wonderful passenger. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, and loyal best friend who’s ready to sing his own love song with you, Brooks might just be your guy. Apply to adopt: dcdogos.org/adopt Location: Ukiah, CA

Story
LION – Male Boxer | 2 Years Old - DOB 11/25/2023 |    50 lbs | Healthy, Vaccinated & Neutered Introducing Lion, the sweetest big-hearted Boxer boy you’ll ever meet! At 2 years old, Lion has that perfect blend of Boxer goofiness and soulful loyalty. He’s playful, affectionate, expressive, and absolutely loves being near his humans. Lion is the type of dog who wiggles when he’s happy, leans in for cuddles, and charms everyone he meets with his warm, gentle nature. Breed Info: Boxers are known for their intelligence, athleticism, and famously silly personalities. They are deeply loyal, people-oriented, and incredibly loving companions. Boxers thrive on interaction, bonding, and being included in family life. Lion reflects the best of his breed — goofy, devoted, and full of heart. Owner Responsibilities: To help Lion thrive, he’ll need: Daily exercise (walks, play, and engagement) Structure, training, and positive reinforcement Plenty of affection and time with his family A safe, stable home where he won’t be left alone too long Give him routine, purpose, and love — and Lion will give you devotion for life. Things to Consider Before Adopting Lion: Are you ready for a medium-energy, highly social dog? Do you have the time and stability for daily exercise and bonding? Is your home and landlord dog-friendly? Are you prepared to commit to a dog for the next 10+ years? Are you ready for a dog who wants to be included as part of the family, always? Dogs are forever — not until convenient. Vet Care: Lion is healthy, vaccinated, and neutered. Please take him to your own vet shortly after adoption to set up ongoing care and ensure his continued well-being. The 3-3-3 Rule & Lifelong Commitment: First 3 days: He decompresses and starts to feel safe. First 3 weeks: Lion learns your routine, expectations, and begins trusting fully. First 3 months: He bonds deeply, understanding he is truly home at last. Adoption is forever — and Lion is ready to give his heart unconditionally. Why Lion Would Be a Great Addition: Lion is a loyal, affectionate, and joy-filled companion who will bring warmth and love into any home. His expressive Boxer charm, playful energy, and gentle nature make him the kind of dog who forms bonds that last a lifetime. He’ll make you laugh, comfort you on hard days, and love you with everything he has. He’s not just a dog — he’s family. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue.
