Story
Sweet Emma (aka Princess Emma) came to VORKA when her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. At 12 years old, Emma has a lot of life to live. Some of her favourite things include watching the neighbourhood from her prime window bed, chattering with the birds, head butting, rubbing her cheeks against her brush, and being gently hugged. A daily brushing is required to ensure that her fur does not mat. While she loves it, she is not keen on her belly fur being brushed and would require a groom at the vet every so often to ensure she stays mat-free. Emma has kidney disease and will need to continue her vet prescribed kidney food and supplement. She’s doing great with both of these! She does have a heart murmur but it does not need treatment at this time. Recently, it was discovered she is hard of hearing. It does not impact her quality of life but she loves having her person in the same room. She’d make a great companion for someone that has a quiet home who can dote on her, giving her the royal retirement she was meant to have!

Story
Despite his name, Lancelot is not exactly a brave knight. He likes things calm and quiet; he'll usually get out of the way when people are walking around. He loves getting brushed. In fact, both his desire for brushes and his supply of hair are unending! He will play on his own and will chase small toys or treats if you throw them just right, but he really doesn't like toys that either move faster than he does or swing through the air. Overall, Lancelot is a lovely cat who will do well with a lot of gentle attention, ideally from someone who works from home or has a schedule where they can give him the hours of daily brushing he deserves!

Story
Meet Lipton! The calmer and more laid-back of the tea sisters, Lipton is still quite shy and skittish but has a gentle and sweet nature. She may not be the most affectionate cat, but she enjoys a peaceful environment where she can feel safe and relaxed. Lipton thrives in a quiet home with patient adopters who understand her need for space and time to adjust. She is bonded with her sister, Tetley, who helps bring out her confidence. If you're looking for a gentle, low-key companion who will flourish with love and patience, Lipton (and Tetley!) might be the perfect pair for you! Must adopt with Tetley.

Story
Hello friends!I'm Ferrari the Feline - a very stunning, all-black, long-haired gal with a heart full of love. I'm currently on the lookout for my forever home, and would likely do quite well in a home with another cat companion.Take a good look at this photo - I know, I know, I'm stylish with my cute furry boots! You see, I had some matting in my gorgeous fur, so the lovely humans here helped me out with a little haircut. I feel so much cuter (and lighter)! If you're looking for a sweet, loyal companion who's equal parts mysterious panther and snuggly lap cat, I just might be your purr-fect match.Let's make some memories together - your new best friend,Ferrari 🖤 Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Black Weight: 6.69 Age: 7yrs 0mths 2wks
