Story
Stella was abandoned in the neighborhood 7 years ago. My mother befriended her and she soon came to live with my mom. We don't know how old Stella really is but the vet thinks about 12-14 years old. She has no front claws (whomever had her before must have had them removed). She had her teethed professionally cleaned 2 years ago and had some teeth removed so her teeth that are remaining are in good shape. Stella still has lots of spunk in her and enjoys when you play with her. She liked to sleep with mom but she isn't really a lap cat. She likes being brushed and scratched around her face. She is a lovely cat but mom had to move to a care home and I am unable to keep her.

Story
Hi, I'm Milo - Looking for My Happily Ever After 🖤My world turned upside down not too long ago. I came to the center with three of my closest friends, and I tried my best to understand why I was here. It was scary, and I didn't feel safe at first. Then something wonderful happened-I went into foster care with one of my best friends by my side. In foster, I thrived! I felt comfortable again in a loving home-warm, safe, and protected from the outside world. It was everything I needed to feel like myself again.I'm a sweet, gentle boy with so much love to give. I just need someone who understands that I might take a little time to settle in-but once I do, I'll be your loyal companion for life.Could you be the one to give me the home I've been waiting for? 💕***Milo is currently in foster with Mango, if you are interested in Milo please fill out the pre-adoption questionnaire and one of the staff will call to arrange a meet and greet Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Black Weight: 5.36 Age: 1yrs 3mths 2wks

Story
If you’re looking for the purrfect pair of lap cats, meet Benny and Binx! Benny (orange and fluffy) and Binx (black short hair) have been together since they were tiny kittens and are now six years old. They’ve spent their entire lives with the same loving owner, but sadly are searching for a new home after their person moved into a seniors residence. These two are incredibly sweet, affectionate, and truly some of the chillest cats you’ll ever meet. Benny is the more outgoing of the pair, while Binx is a little softer in his approach — but don’t let that fool you! Both boys are more than happy to climb into your lap and soak up all the love they can get. They’re bonded best friends and must stay together. Both have a clean bill of health. Benny’s gorgeous fluffy coat will need regular brushing to keep him looking his best. Kids and dogs are untested at this time. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a devoted duo, Benny and Binx are ready to fill your life with love, cuddles, and plenty of purring.

Story
Kaiser and his mom, Queenie, are a bonded pair who are looking for a home together. They are both young cats who had a difficult start to life and would love to find the perfect home where they can thrive. Queenie was rescued from a hoarding situation when she was heavily pregnant. Soon after, she gave birth to a litter of kittens, which included Kaiser. Queenie was a wonderful mom and many of her kittens were adopted quickly, however, at only 10 weeks of age Kaiser was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP.) Fortunately, Kaiser not only survived FIP, but he has beaten it and is a very happy, healthy boy now. Since Queenie and Kaiser have been through so much together, they really love each other and are very bonded. It will be important for them to go to a home where they can stay together. Kaiser was born in July 2024, so at the time of posting this bio he is 9 months old. He's got a gorgeous, fluffy, brown tabby coat and a sweet personality to go with it. It can take Kaiser a little bit of time to get used to new people but once he knows you he's quite interactive. He can be chatty sometimes but he's not loud, and he has a wonderful purr. Kaiser likes to play, but since he's no longer a small kitten he isn't a high-energy cat. He does enjoy climbing and being high up on his scratch post. He's not much of a lap cat, but likes to be involved with what's going on and likes to be near you. Queenie is a young adult and is estimated to be about 21 months old at the time of posting (estimated birthday in the summer of 2023.) She has a sleek black coat on a petite frame. Like Kaiser, Queenie is interactive and likes to know what's going on around her but she's more reserved than Kaiser is. She wasn't treated very well during her first year of life, so it takes her a little while to get used to new people. Once she knows you, she will rub up against your legs and purr. Queenie does not like to be picked up and is nervous of having her head touched, but she enjoys back rubs and butt pets. Kaiser helps Queenie come out of her shell; they're a good team. Since both of these kitties came from a home full of other cats, they get along well with others. They are used to other young cats of both genders, and get along as long as the other cats are nice to them. They're both playful and Queenie is a wonderful hunter if you have a feather toy on a stick for her to pounce on. Both kitties are young and playful. Neither of these cats will do well in a home with dogs or with children. They need an adult-only home. They are comfortable with other cats but since Queenie came from an environment where she had to compete for food, she does hoover her food quickly and has taught this trait to Kaiser. Therefore, they need to be in a home where they are meal fed. If they are allowed to free fee, they will become obese very quickly. Queenie does not do well in confined spaces (especially carriers) so she will not be a good cat for someone who wishes to travel with their pet. Putting her in a carrier is very traumatic for Queenie. Therefore, this pair will only be available for adoption within the Victoria area (close to where they are currently fostered). If you're interested in this lovely pair, please visit our website at https://victoriapets.ca/adoption-process/ for information regarding our adoption process and for a copy of our online adoption application.
