Sweet Benny was born on a farm with lots of other cats that were not spayed or neutered. Luckily when they brought him to us he was very sweet and friendly and not skittish or scared. He had a minor eye injury that we treated and it healed very nicely. He has been neutered, is FIV/FeLV negative, litter box trained and fully vaccinated. We believe him to be part Russian Blue, his long coat is very luxurious! Benny is barely a year old and is ready for immediate transport OUR CATS AND KITTENS MUST NEVER BE DECLAWED OR ALLOWED TO GO OUTDOORS, EVER! PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $250

Story
Hi my name is Darling Denna and I am about 7 years old and I have found myself looking for a new family because my owner is moving and she cannot take any of her cats. She's looking for a singular cat home with no other cats around but me. I can exist around dogs but I truly do not want other cats in my litter box or eating the same food that I eat or having to listen to them purrrr. I am diva enough and particular enough to want to own the entire house as my Cat Queen Kingdom.  I am a beautiful long hair black and white girl that is as beautiful to look at, as I am to love. I do like to be with you and I  like being loved on, but I will let you know when it is enough and I'm ready to have my 'alone' time. I really am royalty that I would love to come and hold court in your heart and home.  Please contact ccrnewengland@gmail.com to find out all about me.  Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 18, 2024, 12:50 pm

Story
This gentle yet extraordinary boy is called Oscar and he is destined to be the perfect lap cat. He is sweet and kind and is perfectly content spending his day purring in your lap. He loves to play with his sisters, but is always excited for the first excuse to lay down by your side so you can love on him. Oscar is also quite the gentleman and has the dapper look of a handsome orange and white kitten with luxurious long fur.  He is a talker and he will always greet you with a soft and gentle meow whenever you enter a room. His one flaw is that sometimes he can get lost and he will play “Marco-Polo” with you until he finds you— it’s hard being handsome and smart! But when he does find you, be prepared for some ferocious cuddles. He such a well behaved boy and he would make a great addition to a house with another cat or even the perfect only child.  If you are interested please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.comSeptember 18, 2024, 12:50 pm

Story
Mocha was born to a litter of 5. His mother was a semi-feral cat that gave birth in our house. He is one of two boys and is the only long-haired cat. His birthday is April 24, 2023. He is very sweet and cuddly and enjoys climbing and exploring. He has been getting into fights with his brother and we worry that he may need a space away from other male cats, take caution in introducing him to another male if you do. Currently, he is living in a room with his siblings and we are unable to give them the space and attention they all deserve. If considering adopting more than one from this litter, Mocha and Pepper cannot be adopted together, but he will get along with Latte or Matcha. If you have any questions, I am happy to answer them.

Story
The smallest and the most timid of her siblings, Yeti joined AHS in June 2024 after spending some time in a foster home. This petite girl is ready to continue her socialization in a calm, comfortable home that will let her personality blossom! Yeti is not one for too much affection as of yet, but with a little patience and time we are sure Yeti will become the sweet, affectionate kitten that we know she can become! Yeti gains a lot of comfort from her siblings and may do best in a home with one of her siblings or another feline friend to keep her company. While she has never bit or scratched, Yeti will give a big hiss when she if first picked up and is more noise then she is bite. A home environment that is on the calm side without a lot of hustle and bustle would be the best for this kitty. With a little bit of extra love and care (and possibly a kitty friend!) Yeti is sure to come out of her shell and be your bestest buddy. If you have a little extra TLC to give then stop in and visit with her today! Yeti is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped

Story
This pretty, floofy girl came to AHS in August 2024 after she was found as a stray. Queena is an easygoing girl and would love to find a home to call her own to spend her golden years in! Queena has not always been the most comfortable in the shelter environment but has been very sweet regardless. She loves finding a comfy spot to curl up in and will knead away at her blankies until she is as comfortable as can be. If you are looking for a rather lazy girl than Queena is certainly the kitty for you! She enjoys spending most of her day curled up and snoozing! She is a very gentle cat who enjoys getting head rubs and scratches! She will need a dedicated owner who is willing to spend some extra time brushing all that fluffy fur to make sure she stays looking pristine and pretty! We have not seen Queena around any of the cats in our care but would be willing to try her in a home with other cats! Queena is happy to be friends with people of all ages and would not mind being in a home with children that understand she enjoys her nap time! Queena is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Story
Maddie was brought to us in pretty rough shape.  The emergency physician felt she had been under a hood of a car when she sustained facial injuries.  Upon additional evaluation, it was felt Maddie also had a severe sinus infection.  She had her sinus drained and some teeth pulled.   Nearly a month has passed and Maddy has made a lot of improvement.  Her facial swelling is gone, and her facial wounds have healed nicely.  She is eating well on her own and is no longer on medication.  Now she is in need of her forever home.  We feel a quieter home would suit Maddy best.  She is spayed and her shots are being updated. September 13, 2024, 11:37 am

Story
Colette is a cat who was brought to the shelter, and later pulled into our rescue, with five kittens. Colette was young and underweight at the time of giving birth, so her kittens were born too early. Colette is now healthy and ready for adoption and eager to find her new family. Colette is fun loving and outgoing, but she is still learning how to properly handle her excitement. Colette is hoping for a home that understands and can love her as she is.
