Story
Tower is in a foster home!A note from her foster: Ms. Tower has recovered from a URI, is eating very well and likes to explore. She doesn’t seem to like the dogs. The small interactions she has are peeks of them when I open her door to feed her. She enjoys when someone is in the room with her and likes pets but doesn’t need to be near a person at all times. She is mostly a well behaved cat, although she can sometimes be grabby when she thinks she isn`t getting enough attention. We are working on that. If a long haired tuxedo kitty that has a princess attitude sounds like the right fit for your family, please reach out! Please email hsccfosterteam@gmail.com to be put in touch with her foster!

Story
Hi I'm Marchello! I'm a sweet boy and I love wet food! I can be shy at first, but I love getting pets and stand on my hind legs like a gopher when I want to be petted! I LOVE getting brushed, and playing with toys, especially if they dangle with string. I really like running around and while being held isn't my favorite, I do love to cuddle! My current mom say's I'm super soft and don't be fooled by my RBF (resting you know what face,) because I'm really a happy cat! I live in Hanover, PA and am hoping to find a loving, playful family to adopt me! Is that you?!

Story
Meet Spotty! This gorgeous and easygoing fluffball absolutely loves her people! She will seek you out and rub against you, purring loudly. If you let her, she’ll curl up and sleep on you, no matter where you are or what position you’re in. As a longhaired kitty, Spotty needs some grooming – not to worry! She loves to be brushed. In fact, she would be happy to groom you while you brush her. :-) Her favorite toys are crinkly toys and fishing pole toys as well as anything with catnip. This cuddler loves people of all ages (including kids as young as 5) and is comfortable around other cats. She also has experience with a dog – she is very tolerant but would prefer a home with no dogs or with a dog who tends to ignore kitties. Though she is currently an indoor/outdoor cat, Spotty loves to be inside; her family believes that she would be happy as an indoor-only cat. Spotty’s only “issue” is what appears to be chronic rhinitis. She frequently has a runny nose and sneezes. Her current family will ask their vet to summarize her rhinitis and their suggestions for diagnostics and treatment. To date, antibiotics appear to help short term but do not resolve the issue permanently. Spotty appears to be happy and content. However, her adopters will need to be prepared to delve into this apparent rhinitis if they wish to address the sneezing. Spotty is 8 years old and weighs about 11 lbs. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. The chronic rhinitis is her only known health issue. She has perfect litter box habits. This sweetie is looking for a new home because she needs more grooming and medical care than her current family is able to provide. We (FFOCAS) are helping Spotty’s family safely rehome her. Interested? Please reach out via email (ffocas4pets@gmail.com) or through Adoptapet. We’ll ask you to fill out a rehoming application to keep this process as safe as possible for all involved -- especially Spotty!

Story
Hi… I’m CurtisI’m a long-haired little gentleman with the softest fur and the quietest heart. New places and new people can make me a bit nervous at first, so I might hang back and watch from a cozy hiding spot. But once I feel safe, I’ll show you my sweet side — soft purrs, slow blinks, and the gentlest little head bumps. The most important thing you should know about me is that I’m deeply bonded with my brother. He’s my playmate, my cuddle buddy, and my biggest comfort. We groom each other, nap curled up together, and explore the world as a team. I feel safest when he’s nearby, so we’re looking for a forever home together.I would do best in a calm, patient home where I can take my time learning to trust. If you give me space, kindness, and a little understanding, I promise I’ll blossom into the most loyal, loving companion. There is something really special about earning the trust of a shy kitten like me.Interested in adopting me? We recommend submitting a general online adoption application and then heading to the shelter during our normal adoption hours to meet our available animals. Please note: all applications are considered general until the animal has been met. If you have any questions, please contact animalcenter@bmorehumane.org or 410-833-8848 Ext/Opt 2.

Story
Everyone needs a Butler in their life, but this particular Butler will want you to serve him! needs a Butler in their life, but this particular Butler will want you to serve him! The dumpster where I found him was not a regal dwelling. His life as an unfixed tomcat left him with an FIV positive status, but please dont let that designation scare you. He is healthy and happy, and he deserves to spend the rest of his life in the lap of indoor luxury. He would prefer to be an only cat because he loves to be the center of attention, but he does live with other cats currently. Adoption application, references, and donation required.
