Story
More than 80% of orange cats are males, and we are fortunate to have these 2 gorgeous orange girls that fall into the small percent of orange cats that are female. Butters and Honey are beautiful orange cats that were surrendered to us by the family when their owner passed away from old age. Unfortunately, none of the family members could keep them. Butters is quite a bit younger than Honey, and we believe she could have been Honeys kitten. She is only about 10-12 months old. Butters is also smaller than Honey and only weighs about 7-8 pounds. She loves to roll on her back for belly rubs whenever she’s near you. Butters absolutely loves her ears being rubbed and will let you pet her for hours. She is very much a lap cat, as well as Honey is. The foster brags about how so very sweet both girls are. Honey is about 2-3 years old and a long hair beauty. Honey is amazing. When we got her we didn’t know she was pregnant and within 2 weeks, we had 4 beautiful newborn kitties! Not only was she the BEST mom, she took on not 1, not 2, but FOUR more kittens that their mom died, and they needed a nursing mom to survive. She nursed 8 kittens, 4 not hers, and loved them all like her own. Now that she is kitten free, Honey loves to get pets and even has toys she can play with, that she enjoys playing with, and she doesn’t have to compete with her kitties. When she isn’t playing, she is napping, and she loves a nice lap to lay in! Both cats are soooo so docile. All they want to do is be next to or with their humans. Honey and Butters LOVE to be held and carried around. If you’re lonely, either Butters or Honey would make WONDERFUL companions. They are not bonded and do not have to stay together. Both are GREAT with other cats They have lived with dogs and have no issues with dogs They do good with children Love to be held 100% Lap Cats Litter box Trained Butters and Honey are spayed, microchipped, current on feline distemper and feline leukemia vaccinations, dewormed, will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian and the adoption fee DOES NOT INCLUDE transport to the location this post is in. The fee varies depending on which transport company we use. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks: Albany, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, CT Port Chester, NY Dayon and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh and Falls Church, MD We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.

Crookshanks. Grade A loverboy. Very vocal and will chat with you all day. Loves to be pet and brushed. HEAVILY food motivated. Like seriously. It’s all about food with this guy. No teeth but all the more excuse to see that adorable tongue. Totally fine as an only cat. He’s a loner and more human oriented. Did I mention food? Because I know he’s currently thinking about it

Story
Welcome to Quarry's World! This little boy was born near Laredo but few other facts are known about his early childhood. What we do know is that Quarry is a gentle, sweet boy who loves to be held and petted so that he can run his purr-machine. His foster mom doesn't think he will be a big feline but more compact in size. Quarry will fit into just about any family situation. He makes friends easily and loves everybody he meets. The question is: can you provide the loving furever home for this sweet boy?
