Story
Tenzin is the definition of irresistible. With those sky-blue eyes, unique markings, and three legs, he’s truly one of a kind—and he knows it! Tenzin was found outside during a snowstorm by a kind stranger who brought him to safety. While his full story is a mystery, it’s clear he must have been cherished. He greets people with instant affection and a motor-like purr that starts the moment you sit beside him, sometimes before you even reach out to touch him. No one is quite sure how Tenzin became a three-legged cat, but it certainly doesn’t slow him down. He moves confidently and happily, especially if it means getting closer to you! Tenzin will eagerly hop over if he senses attention coming his way. HTAT staff and volunteers quickly fell for his sweet, silly nature, and chances are you will too. If you’re looking for a pretty kitty who wants to be near you, Tenzin may be your perfect match.

Story
MEET POPPY!This sweet lady came in as an owner surrender due to no fault of her own. Poppy came from a quiet household with one elderly owner and we feel as though matching a quiet household would be an ideal match for her. Since being in our care she has been slow to come out of her shell, but once she warms up to you she is very demanding to have her head rubbed! With a slow and quiet transition in her new home we know she will be the best cuddle buddy! Poppy is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Poppy or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Story
Meet D`Let! This social, fluffy gal has been waiting patiently atthe shelter for her perfect adopter to come along. D`Let is a little bit on the spicy side of life! D`Let would do best withan adopter who is not phased by a little pizazz, is willing to learn toread cat body language, and can give her time to adjust to a new home.We are placing D`Let as a working cat or an indoor/outdoor cat due tobehaviors she`s exhibited that lead us to believe she will be unable tolive fully indoors. Adopters are responsible for providing working catswith adequate shelter, food, water, and veterinary care. In exchange, yourworking cat will earn its keep by offering hunting skills andcompanionship.

Bonded Brother Cats Seeking Loving Home Meet these beautiful five-year-old brothers—one black, one gray—looking for their next family. Both are healthy, long-haired, and weigh about 12 pounds each. Personalities: The black brother is playful and loves to be petted. The gray brother is more reserved but equally affectionate, with an especially rumbly purr. They enjoy the occasional wrestling match together. Both are great with children and people of all ages. We would love to keep them but are moving and unable to bring them along. Hoping to find them a wonderful home—ideally together.
