You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Apply for cats at www.carmah.org All cats are first come first serve; sorry, we cannot reserve cats.  I'm Ethan - you will likely first notice my stunning good looks, my gorgeous blue eyes that you can lose yourself in, and my long fur which I take great care of. OK, I'm all that, plus... I am friendly and sweet, I love people, I'm fine with other cats. (Not so sure about dogs - I have no known exposure to them.)  I am 3 years old and in excellent health. Can you take all this charm, and dare I say it ... total perfection? Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Kittens under six months must have a cat buddy. Adoption fees are $325 for kittens under a year, $600 per pair $250 for cats 1-11 years, $175 for cats 12+ years   CaRMaH is an all volunteer, no-kill cat rescue group serving the Marlborough/Hudson MA area and beyond. Story
From our foster:One evening while routine feeding the community's feline cats, a vision of beauty emerged. A Siamese mix, she was pristine white, gracefully stepped into view from beneath the scattered metal building. The backdrop of wandering male cats hinted at the urgency of kitten season andimpending motherhood lingered in the air. Unfazed by the surroundings, she approached with a gentle curiosity, her trusting eyes meeting mine in silent understanding. Without hesitation, I welcomed her into the warmth of my home, a sanctuary against the harsh realities of alley life. In that moment, a decision was made not just to offer shelter but to break the cycle of endless litters born in the shadows. The Wise County Humane Society's tireless efforts in rescuing countless feline families from this very alley echoed the urgent need for intervention. This newfound companion, with a penchant for affectionate belly rubs and a shared fascination for the avian world outside my window, found solace in our shared bond. Together, we forged a tale of rescue, compassion, and a mutual love for the simple joy of bird watching from the comfort of my bedAs always before adoption, all cats are spay/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, given distemper and rabies vaccines if old enough, flea and dewormer treatments if necessary.
