Story
This sweet boy is a total love! He will head butt you while you try to feed him, and he loves being petted. Bishop recently had his injured eye removed and is on the mend. He is just under 10 years old and is ready for his forever home. This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/). Please consider fostering a cat or dog by applying on our website.A cat's behavior in the shelter is usually not what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat.Kitten Policy: It is important to understand that the socialization of kittens with other animals as playmates is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we cannot place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet any cat or kitten available for adoption at the time of visit. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Fill out an application, which can be found at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/

Six-year-old Quinn is currently in foster, where we have learned she’s a sweet girl who needs a home with someone who can provide loads of attention to help prevent some anxiety. She likely will do best if her people are mostly home, not away overnight, etc. This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Bruno has no problems with children of all ages. He was given up, along with his sister May May and his brother Maui. They live with other male and female cats and get along with no issues. He also lives with 3 dogs of all sizes and doesn’t mind them. Bruno has lived inside his whole life and is just waiting for his forever home. Story
Ghost is a very affectionate cat. He is perfectly content to spend the entire day in your lap or curled up on the couch. Ghost like to be where is people are, and is very social throughout the day. His favorite toys are mobiles or anything that spins and he can take a good swat at. He plays very well with other cats and doesn't mind dogs. Ghost enjoys sunbathing in the window sill and making sure your chair is warm when you sit down. He is great with children and will even let toddlers pick him up. Ghost is very vocal when it is dinner time and when he wants attention. He is curious but not destructive and can warm his way into anyone's heart.Ghost is declawed and should not be an outside cat at all.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Meet Sampson! This serious looking fellow is hardly that! He's an incredibly sweet senior gentleman who was abandoned by his original owner. Sampson has lived with other cats and may be OK with a dog pending an introduction here at the shelter. He has lived indoors only and would be fine with children. Sampson is so affectionate he'll actually gently "pat" at your arm for more attention and he thoroughly enjoys belly rubs. How sweet is that? If he sounds like the perfect cat for you, please reach out to our feline staff for more information!*Special Needs--Will require a dental in the future*Requires routine grooming
