Story
Meet Paprika! We first met Paprika in an animal shelter. We were told she was there for at least 6 months and had been transferred from a different facility. She struggled to get adopted due to the fact that she is slightly overstimulated. She needs to be rehomed now due to financial difficulties. She is extremely sweet, loving, and is very energetic. She still does hiss occasionally when scared/overstimulated, so we are worried she will struggle to get adopted from a shelter again. However she never bites, just gives warning hisses. She deserves a forever home. She absolutely needs to be the only pet, she is very aggressive towards other cats. Hopefully someone who is patient will adopt her because she has lots of love!

Story
Chauncey is a 13-year-old, mellow gentleman looking for his forever home. As his lustrous silvery coat reveals, he is a part Russian Blue with a heart full of love and a calm, gentle spirit. This sweet senior boy is the definition of a quiet companion—affectionate without being demanding, and happiest when he's curled up next to you or enjoying a soft brushing session. He adores gentle pets and will gladly lean in for more love. Chauncey enjoys the occasional play session, especially with a wand toy or something with a string—but he’s mostly content to lounge nearby, soaking up your company or napping in a comfy spot. His beautiful coat will need to be gently brushed regularly, to keep it looking its best and free from mats. He currently lives in an apartment with one other person. Chauncey would thrive in a peaceful home where he can relax and soak up attention at his own pace. He is so ready to enjoy a low-key lifestyle with someone who works from home or is around a lot, and who appreciates a sweet, laid-back cat. Chauncey hasn’t met any other cats or dogs yet (no kids, please), and he has so much quiet affection to give as he celebrates his golden years. Could his forever home be with you? ----Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Please fill out Pet Haven’s adoption application: http://bit.ly/2fd9U2Fpethavenmnwww..org/adopt. Story
Nacho is a 12-year-old, extremely sweet fluff ball looking for his forever home! This beautiful long-haired gentleman still loves to play and will rub up against you or headbutt you whenever he wants rubs. He loves when you call his name and will come running over to say hi. Nacho is very chill and always down for a nap by himself or some playtime with a mouse toy. His future humans should make sure to brush his lustrous coat regularly, so he can continue to be his dapper self. This guy is on the mellow side since he's a bit older, but his affection is ageless! He currently lives in an apartment, where he enjoys the simple life. Nacho loves a quiet home with just one or two people. He doesn't like kids, dogs or other cats, as he prefers to soak up all of the attention for himself. He just wants to lay in bed, look out the window or have some play time and get rubs from his beloved forever people. This handsome fellow is a really sweet cat who deserves a nice quiet space to enjoy his retirement. Are you ready to help Nacho thrive in his beautiful golden years? He would love to meet you! This 8-year-old medium-haired fluffer is as regal as her name, which means "King" in Hindi. True to her title, Raja loves being treated like royalty and knows how to command a household with her charming yet independent personality. Her stunning coat adds to her majestic aura, and don’t forget about her adorable toe beans—they’re as cute as they are paw-sitively perfect!Raja is a low-energy kitty who enjoys the finer things in life, like lounging on her cat tree, basking in sunny spots, and keeping an eye on the resident squirrels through the window. She’s a playful fluffer at heart, entertaining herself with toys (and occasionally losing them under furniture). Raja can be quite the chatterbox and will let you know when she needs something, but her appreciation for your efforts is always clear. This queen prefers a calm, structured home where her boundaries are respected. She’s skittish around new people and large gatherings, so a quiet environment without young kids is necessary. She hasn't met any other cats or dogs yet, but may be open to them with the right introduction. While Raja isn’t a fan of being picked up, she loves gentle affection on her terms and enjoys exploring her space. Her ideal family will be patient, understanding, and willing to accommodate her routine.Raja has some special needs that require a little extra care—she has arthritis that is managed with monthly injections and occasional ear issues that are easily treated with provided medication. Story
Tybalt and Puk are 7-month-old brothers full of fun and playful kitten energy; and you’re in luck as they are looking for their purrfect forever home together. Tybalt loves to play. He is a shy boy who warms up if you give him space initially. He loves to climb cat trees and always finds the highest place in the room. He also likes playing in hidey holes and boxes and then jumping out to scare you. He loves chasing his humans’ feet under the blankets when he’s on their bed!Tybalt is a high-energy kitten who requires lots of playtime. He does well with toys like the laser pointer or toys on wands and strings. He plays hard and naps hard, in typical kitten fashion. If he ever gets into something inappropriate, he does well with very gentle, patient redirection toward a more appropriate toy.Puk loves to wrestle with other cats. He also loves to cuddle with people at night. If you respect his space, he will warm up to you. He is a little bit reserved around people but is always ready to pal around with other cats. His favorite thing is lying in the sunshine.Puk has a medium to high energy level. Like all kittens, he loves to play (especially with his brother Tybalt) and explore his environment. These sweethearts currently live in a house with two humans and nine other cats, including their brothers, sister, and mom. They would do equally well in active or quiet homes, as long as their humans provide them with lots of room to run, jump, and play. They both do well with other cats and gentle, older children (haven’t met any dogs yet), and would thrive with humans who are around a lot and enjoy kitten shenanigans. If you’ve been wondering, “Wherefore art thou, kitten friend?”---then wonder no more. Story
Cashew is a curious and playful three-year-old cat, looking for his forever home! This handsome, fluffy fellow is a bit reserved and will take some time to warm up to his new owners. He is very fond of our resident cats, however. He loves to cuddle up next to them and enjoys every moment of it. Cashew will be your cat’s best friend, even as he needs gentleness and compassion as he gets used to new humans. However, when he does come around, he will be super-loving and demand to be near you! His forever people will also have to commit to regular brushing of his lustrous, stunning coat, to keep him looking and feeling his best. This guy loves to play/lounge around the house, following his cat pals around or sitting near his humans to examine them when it’s mealtime or chill time. To start his day, this lovely fellow likes to find himself a nice window in the morning, where he can soak up the sun. Cashew’s ideal home needs to have other cats, as he is such a loving cat friend. He also needs a home that will be respectful of his space, understanding that it may take him some time to achieve his cuddly stage! Patience is key. Along with the essential cat friends, Cashew will thrive with respectful dogs and gentle older kids. If you’re ready to add some loving, kind energy to your resident cat family, or if you’d like to adopt a Pet Haven friend to go home with Cashew, this handsome boy would be so happy to meet you!
