Story
Meet Teddy – Gentle Giant & Resident Cat Daddy Teddy is a 13-pound bundle of love wrapped in luxurious long black fur. Don’t let his size fool you—he’s a total sweetheart! Originally believed to be feral, Teddy quickly showed us his true colors: affectionate, calm, and irresistibly lovable. See video of Teddy: https://www.facebook.com/felinefriendsoflakepepin/videos/818872137234829 Now affectionately known as the 'Cat Daddy' of our rescue, Teddy has taken on the role of gentle guardian and mentor to our younger cats. He’s a calm, reassuring presence who gets along beautifully with others, making him a great addition to a multi-cat household. Teddy’s favorite things? Being brushed (he purrs like a motor!), lounging and relaxing, and playing like a kitten when the mood strikes. Wherever he goes he draws a crowd of adoring kittens, who grooms and treats like his favorite children. He’s the perfect mix of mellow and playful, and he’s ready to share his heart with a forever family. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and even bigger charm, Teddy might just be your guy. Text Rebecca at (612) 366-2724.November 13, 2025, 11:57 am

Story
My name is Nina, and my story started with a bit of heartbreak. My siblings and I were left behind in an empty apartment when our owner moved away. We didn’t understand what was happening — only that the world suddenly felt too big and too quiet. Thankfully, the building manager found us and reached out to Animal Ark, and that’s how we ended up here: safe, warm, and finally able to breathe again. I’m still very much a kitten, which means I’m learning how to trust the world one gentle moment at a time. I can be shy at first, but once I feel secure, my curiosity and sweetness start to peek through. I’m a female long-haired beauty with grey and white fur, and yes… I know I’m a bit of a stunner. Because I’m still building my confidence, I need a home without children under five. And like all kittens adopted from Animal Ark, I’ll need a feline friend — either one of my own siblings or a playful resident cat who can help me feel brave. I currently share my space with Neo and Trinity, who might be my siblings, and we comfort each other in ways only kittens who’ve been through the same thing can. We don’t know much about our past with dogs or children, but slow, thoughtful introductions can work wonders. What we do know is that we’re ready — ready for love, for stability, and for the next chapter in our nine lives. Come meet us. You might be the person who turns our story into something beautiful.

Story
I`m Frankie, a handsome grey-and-white, longhaired male kitten who came to Animal Ark when my previous owners could no longer care for me. Upon arrival, I needed some medical attention, but thanks to our dedicated team, I am now healthy, active, and ready for my forever home. What I need: A home without children under 5 years old. A kitten companion or a friendly, active resident cat to help him learn good feline manners. I`m a lively little bundle of energy who will bring joy, playfulness, and plenty of purrs to the right family. If you’re looking for the “purr-fect” addition to your household, come meet me at Animal Ark today!

Story
***Currently in a foster home. Meet & Greet will be arranged with an approved adoption application. ***I was only about a week old when I was found orphaned, alone, and in need of help. A kind young woman reached out to Animal Ark, and they quickly stepped in to rescue me. From there, I was welcomed into a loving foster home where I was bottle-fed, nurtured, and given the chance to grow strong. That’s also where I got my name — Smooch — a longhaired brown tabby girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Now that I’m growing up, I’m showing everyone just how fun and adventurous I am. I love playing with boxes, chasing toys on sticks, and climbing my cat tree like a tiny acrobat. I’m also great with other animals — I enjoy interacting with my foster’s dogs (even the 90-pound one!) and their cats. I’m a curious, confident kitten who’s always ready to explore.Because I’m still young and learning, Animal Ark has a few requirements to make sure I thrive in my forever home:I cannot be placed in a home with children under five years old.I must be adopted with a kitten buddy or go to a home that already has a friendly, playful resident cat. Having a feline friend helps me develop healthy social skills and makes growing up so much more fun.If you think we might be the perfect match, please submit an adoption application so we can schedule a meet and greet. I can’t wait to charm you in person and show you just how special I am.

Story
*** Currently safe in a loving foster home — meetings are possible with an approved adoption application. ***Once upon a chilly evening, my siblings and I were discovered outside an apartment building, tiny explorers without a mother to guide us. No one came forward, so our journey led us to Animal Ark, and then into the arms of a wonderful foster family who helped us learn the joys of play, cuddles, and trust. Hello, I’m Wren — a long-haired tortoiseshell kitten with a coat painted in swirls of autumn leaves. My markings tell my story: bold, beautiful, and unmistakably feminine. I’m looking for a forever home that understands my needs: No children under five (I’m delicate and need gentle hands). I must be adopted with another kitten friend, or join a household with a playful, friendly cat already waiting to welcome me.If you feel your home could be my safe haven, please submit an adoption application. I can’t wait to meet the person who will turn my story into a happily-ever-after.
