Story
Meet Teddy – Gentle Giant & Resident Cat Daddy Teddy is a 13-pound bundle of love wrapped in luxurious long black fur. Don’t let his size fool you—he’s a total sweetheart! Originally believed to be feral, Teddy quickly showed us his true colors: affectionate, calm, and irresistibly lovable. See video of Teddy: https://www.facebook.com/felinefriendsoflakepepin/videos/818872137234829 Now affectionately known as the 'Cat Daddy' of our rescue, Teddy has taken on the role of gentle guardian and mentor to our younger cats. He’s a calm, reassuring presence who gets along beautifully with others, making him a great addition to a multi-cat household. Teddy’s favorite things? Being brushed (he purrs like a motor!), lounging and relaxing, and playing like a kitten when the mood strikes. Wherever he goes he draws a crowd of adoring kittens, who grooms and treats like his favorite children. He’s the perfect mix of mellow and playful, and he’s ready to share his heart with a forever family. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and even bigger charm, Teddy might just be your guy. Text Rebecca at (612) 366-2724.November 13, 2025, 11:57 am

Story
** Bonded with Rex, must be adopted together**Hello, I`m Raya—a stunning cream-colored Siamese-mix kitten, one of five born at Animal Ark to our sweet mom, Roxie. She came to the shelter from a home overwhelmed with too many cats, and thanks to her, I got my start in life surrounded by love. But my journey hasn’t been easy. I’m a brave little soul who has faced more than most kittens ever will. I was diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), a serious illness, and underwent 84 days of intensive treatment. Today, I’m thriving—playful, affectionate, and full of life. I’m ready to find my forever home. Because of my medical history, I need to be adopted with Rex- my littermate who shared this journey and immune exposure with me. To keep everyone safe, my future home must not have other cats, with the exception of Rex, and I’m best suited to a household without children under the age of five.If you’re looking for a resilient, loving companion with a heart full of courage, I just might be your perfect match.

Story
Clover: Brave, Resourceful, and Ready for a New Beginning! Clover was rescued while fiercely protecting her kittens from neighborhood coyotes—pulled from a crawlspace after outsmarting every trap. Now retired from motherhood, this young brown tabby is learning to trust and settle into safety. Her past with dogs, children, and other cats is unknown, and she’ll need time to adjust—but her resilience is undeniable. If you’re looking to give a loving home to a clever survivor with a gentle heart, Clover’s waiting to meet you.

** Bonded with Raya, need to be adopted together**I`m Rex, a black male kitten one of six Siamese-mix kittens born at the shelter to our mom Roxie. Our mom came to Animal Ark from a home that had too many cats. I’ve had quite the journey. I was diagnosed with FIP, but thanks to treatment and lots of care, I’m feeling great now—zooming around, chasing toys, and soaking up snuggles like a pro. I’m looking for a forever home, but I can’t go alone. I need to be adopted with Raya, one of my litter mates—we’ve been through everything together, and we’re a perfect pair. Because of my past with FIP, I can’t live with other cats with the exception of Raya. It’s just safer that way. But if you’ve got room in your heart for two bonded kittens, I promise we’ll fill your days with laughter, love, and a whole lot of purring.I may have had a rough start, but I’m ready for a beautiful life. Could it be with you?

Story
*** Currently safe in a loving foster home — meetings are possible with an approved adoption application. ***Once upon a chilly evening, my siblings and I were discovered outside an apartment building, tiny explorers without a mother to guide us. No one came forward, so our journey led us to Animal Ark, and then into the arms of a wonderful foster family who helped us learn the joys of play, cuddles, and trust. Hello, I’m Wren — a long-haired tortoiseshell kitten with a coat painted in swirls of autumn leaves. My markings tell my story: bold, beautiful, and unmistakably feminine. I’m looking for a forever home that understands my needs: No children under five (I’m delicate and need gentle hands). I must be adopted with another kitten friend, or join a household with a playful, friendly cat already waiting to welcome me.If you feel your home could be my safe haven, please submit an adoption application. I can’t wait to meet the person who will turn my story into a happily-ever-after.
