Story
Sky's approximate date of birth is August 29, 2023. She is spayed and vaccinated. She tested negative for FIV/Felv and she has a registered microchip. Her adoption fee is $250.00 + tax. (Sky and Ember must be adopted together) Sky: Welcome to The Purrfect Match! Where we bring cats and humans together, forever! I am your host and today we will be meeting the Beautiful Sky. 1. What are you most looking for in an adopter? I am looking for someone who is patient, kind and understanding. Someone who will love me unconditionally for who I am. I was born outdoors and though I have come very far, I am still learning how to trust and live the indoor life. 2. What do you think is important for a healthy human cat relationship? I think trust is very important both ways. I need to trust that a human will forever provide safety, love, toys, comfort, and a trip to the doctor if I ever don't feel good. My human can trust me to be kind and comforting when they need it too. It just might take me a little longer than a 'normal' kitty. 3. What is the best gift you've ever received? I would say my foster mama bringing me indoors from the scary outdoors. Also my kitty cave bed, I love napping in it because it makes me feel safe. 4. Are you more of an introvert or extrovert? At the moment I am 75% extroverted. I am working really hard on being confident! Sometimes I still just need my alone time. When I am out and about I enjoy pets and scratches, laying on a lap, and being picked up and snuggled. When I am in my cave bed I am recharging my social battery and want to be left alone. Ember is inspiring me though and I am getting better! 5. Do you have any pet peeves? When I am in my cave bed and my foster mama tries to pet or pick me up. I get upset and hiss. Only because I want left alone and am a little scared. I have never hurt anyone. 6. How do you prefer to relax in your free time? I enjoy taking naps with Ember, laying on a window shelf, basking in the sunshine and grooming myself. Also recharging in my cave bed. 7. Are you a morning person or a night owl? Both. I can be awake and alert with my human in the morning in no time, but sometimes I also enjoy playing with Ember or chasing a ball at midnight. I don't do it for long though because I know everyone is sleeping. 8. Is there anything you are scared of? The outdoors and unpredictable things like loud noises and movements. A human coming at me quickly also scares me because I don't know what they are doing to do. Humans weren't nice to me when I was little and lived outdoors but my foster mama says I am doing so good at overcoming that experience! 9. If you were stranded on an island, what three things would you bring with you? Unlimited canned food for sure, a girl has to eat! My sister Ember and my cave bed. 10. Would you relocate for the perfect adopter? Absolutely! My foster mama lives in the middle of nowhere and she said she is willing to give me a ride anywhere for the perfect human. 11. What is your most favorite food? Any canned food really, but I especially like chicken and tuna. Treats too of course! 12. How much alone time do you typically need? I would say about 25% of my time right now is alone time, but I am getting better at being confident and wanting to be around humans! I have always been on the independent side and don't ask for much or make a fuss. My foster mama calls me a 'typical tuxedo'. 13. Have you ever lived with another cat or a dog? Yes. I was born outside and lived with a handful of other big cats and also my family. I like living with other cats, especially my sister Ember. My foster mama introduced me to a dog and he was big but nice, and I think I could live with a dog as long as they are nice. 14. Who is your best friend and why are they your best friend? My best friend is my sister Ember. She is my best friend because she plays with me, comforts me and snuggles with me. She inspires me to come out of my shell and be confident. We have always been there for each other and I would be lost without her. 15. What is a non-negotiable that you need in an adopter? I need my human to be my forever human. I never want to live outside ever again and I have heard how scary shelters are, I never want to go there. I also need my human to understand that I may be a little scared when I move in at first, but I promise as soon as we establish trust I will be myself and will work hard on being their friend and confidant. 16. Is there anything else you would like to share about yourself? I am a good girl. I always use the bathroom box, keep my fur clean and pretty, and don't scratch furniture and only use my scratchers. I won't ask for much and even though I may be scared at first, I will try my best to become the real me. I love love the indoor life and it's where I belong. I am hoping to find a couple to adopt me and Ember together. I think I will be able to have more confidence and comfort with her in my life forever. Perhaps a couple where one human wants a needy snuggly kitty and the other wants an independent aloof one? I know my perfect adopters are out there and I can't wait to meet them! *If you would be interested in meeting a Saving Tails Animal Rescue pet or being considered for an adoption, please complete an adoption application at savingtails.org. Story
My name is Robbie & I`m a 1 1/2-year-old black and white male cat who came to Animal Art when a kind soul realized that I was in trouble and without a home. Staff describe me as energetic and playful, so I`ll need an active home to keep up with me! I`m also an affectionate lap cat that enjoys having my chin scratched. My long fur means my new family will have to be conscientious about brushing and combing me to prevent mats forming in my gorgeous coat. I need to be the only feline in my new home. I can get overstimulated when playing, so I can`t go to a home with children under the age of eight years old. If it sounds like I might be a good match for your family, come to the shelter and meet me!

Story
*** Bonded Pair--I must be adopted with my brother Lieutenant Dan ***I`m known as Forrest Gump, an orange tabby male, one of the Gump family. We came to Animal Ark after being removed from a home with too many cats. My foster described me as a lovebug, sweet and concerned about everyone, humans and animals alike. I`m a snuggler and will ask for pets. I can be more of an observer and am not as adventurous as my brother. I`m strongly bonded with my brother Lieutenant Dan, and we must be adopted as a pair. We have been around dogs, other cats, and humans of all ages.

Story
*** Currently in a foster home. Meeting can be arranged with an approved application. ***My siblings and I were born outdoors to a mom who had somehow been surviving on her own while also raising a large family! We were all live-trapped and brought to a foster home for socialization and care before winter temps began to set in. I`m Peter, a solid gray male kitten with longer hair, one of six kittens named for The Chronicles of Narnia. I can`t go to a home with children under the age of five years old. It would be great if I could be adopted with one of my siblings (Shasta, Polly 2, Lucy, Susan or Corin) or could go to a home with a young playful feline to teach me good social skills. If a tiny bundle of love and energy sounds purr-fect, plan to come meet me!

Story
I`m Shiloh, a five-year-old long-haired brown tabby female who was brought to Animal Ark when a kind individual found me. No one claimed me, and I didn`t have a microchip, so I spent some time at the shelter until staff realized that I was expecting kittens. Staff found me to be sweet and affectionate. Soon I was off to a wonderful foster home, where I gave birth to seven kittens. My mom duties are now behind me, and I`m looking for a home where I can be pampered and carefree. It`s unknown whether I`ve lived with other cats, dogs, or children. Any introductions would have to be gradual. Plan to come meet me if you are ready to help me start my next adventure!
