Chalupa, spayed female, long hair torbie, born 4/9/23. Chalupa is the sweetest special needs kitty, having been exposed to toxoplasmosis and treated, with lasting effects in the neurological and breathing areas. But she is as happy as they come and don't have a thought she is even affected. She plays, she climbs eats, sleeps, and uses the bathroom quite normally. She also takes minimal medication like liver supplement. And she adores her treat time - she comes scurrying across the floor in her cute special way she does. Chalupa can live a long, healthy life. Won't you give a special needs kitty a chance at happiness in a loving home? Ask for as many pictures and videos as you want. You may just find yourself falling for her as I have. Thank you. The adoption fee is $100. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Sweet Benny was born on a farm with lots of other cats that were not spayed or neutered. Luckily when they brought him to us he was very sweet and friendly and not skittish or scared. He had a minor eye injury that we treated and it healed very nicely. He has been neutered, is FIV/FeLV negative, litter box trained and fully vaccinated. We believe him to be part Russian Blue, his long coat is very luxurious! Benny is barely a year old and is ready for immediate transport OUR CATS AND KITTENS MUST NEVER BE DECLAWED OR ALLOWED TO GO OUTDOORS, EVER! PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $250

Story

Coconut is a big handsome boy, and he knows it. Coconut came to Cameron Animal Hospital after his owner passed away, and he has found the change extremely stressful. He is ready for a new home of his own where he can decompress, and be treated like the prince he is. Coconut is approximately 9 years old. He is healthy, FeLV/FIV negative, fecal tested and preventatively dewormed, and has received the full series of FVRCP (distemper) and rabies vaccines. Coconut can sometimes get overstimulated and become reactive; therefore he needs an experienced owner who knows how to read his behaviors cues and help him decompress. Coconut has previously lived with another cat, and it was reported that they got along well. However at the hospital he has found the presences of other cats and dogs to be major stressors. Therefore we recommend that Coconut be an only pet. Due to his occasional reactivity, Coconut should not go to a home with young children. Despite his stress at the hospital, Coconut is friendly and affectionate with people. He enjoys being pet and getting human attention, and he especially likes treats. Tux and Dakota are two sweet kitten littermates who are looking for their forever homes. They love to play and cuddle, and although they can be shy when they first meet you, once they are comfortable they show their silly, playful personalities. Tux and his sister Dakota came to Cameron Animal Hospital after being found as strays. They are healthy and FeLV/FIV negative. Their adoptions include the following, at age appropriate times- full FVRCP (distemper) and Rabies vaccines; fecal testing and deworming; spay/neuter; microchip. Tux and Dakota are very bonded and must be adopted together. They love to play and cuddle together, and always check in with one another. Tux is the shyer of the two, and follows his sister's lead. If she is comfortable, he knows he can trust whoever is with her, and he relaxes. Although Tux can be nervous in new situations and with new people, he gains comfort from being held and cuddled, and he is always gentle. Tux and Dakota are good with other cats, but don't like dogs. They have not been tested with young children. They can still be a little bit nervous, so would do better in a calmer house, without lots of unexpected noise and movement. Noelle's luxurious fur and bright eyes make her an irresistible companion. Noelle is shy and will take a bit of time to relax in her new home. She will thrive best in a home with lots lof love and patience to help her feel secure and safe. She's a calm and affectionate cat who enjoys lounging in sunny spots and receiving gentle pets. Her fosters note she has made such progress in their home ! They describe as a bit of a "scaredy cat", but lovable and affectionate. She is particular about how she likes to be pet (she loves the head and back of the neck and (sometimes) her back- like straight along her spine. But she hates if anyone touches the side of her head, her side, or her stomach).She loves attention and even sometimes follows the fosters around. She naps a lot and occasionally loves to play with her toys or a ball and throw them around (it's adorable). She has very soft and lush fur that will benefit from extra brushing. Noelle is spayed, vaccinated, and dewormed, ensuring she's in excellent health and ready for her new home.
