Story
We got Nyx from a family member around 2 years ago. She is somewhere in the ballpark of 2 1/2 - 3 years old. She can be a sweet girl but doesnt do well with children and often hisses/scratches at our 8 year old. We are looking to find someone that doesnt have kids, possibly someone older who is at home a lot as she likes to sit on your lap. With her long hair she does tend to have a lot of hairballs. We have tried a lot of things to mitigate this but nothing has worked and she ends up throwing up a lot. It&s difficult for us to keep up with this situation due to our busy schedules. We live in an apartment building and have made a lot of efforts to treat but as we cat clean the entire building fleas have been an issue for her. She has several spots where theyve bitten at her despite deep cleaning/flea drops/bathing. Due to this I think it would be ideal to have a standalone home for her and not a multiple dwelling unit. She has been an indoor cat all her life but loves windows.

Story
Please say hello to Pancake! Pancake is a 13 year old senior cat. My youngest son was only 5 years old and wanted to name his new fur baby Pancake because that was his favorite food at the time. We got Pancake from a friend when he was a kitten. He is very friendly and very loving. He does not get along well with other animals, but he is absolutely wonderful with children. We prefer if pancake could be rehomed to an older person/couple with no other animals in the home. The reason that we need to rehome Pancake is because my elderly parents will be moving in with us in April. My father is highly allergic to cats. If you decide to take pancake, please love him and show him great affection! Also, please give him time to adjust to his new home and new surroundings.

Story
Rocket is a 4 year and 10 month old Red Point Siamese who came to the shelter as an injured stray. He had been attacked by another animal and had multiple puncture wounds that needed treatment. We were surprised to find he was neutered and microchipped. His owner, currently serving overseas in the military, had left him with friends to care for. Sadly, he ended up outside and did not fare well on his own. His owner, unable to claim, agreed to let us treat his wounds and place him up for adoption. Rocket needs a special adopter who will understand his personality! He does not like other cats, so much so that he will scream at his own reflection. He is very loving, playful, mischievous and vocal. His adoption fee is $150, this includes his neuter, FELV/FIV test, vaccines current, deworming, flea prevention and micro-chipped. Please call to schedule an appointment to meet him. 419-334-4517. We are open Monday through Friday 1pm-5pm and Saturday 1pm-4pm. Please note we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today!
