This handsome Siamese seal point was transferred to us from an overcrowded shelter at the end of May and while we may never know what hardships led him there, his condition told a story. He had severe matting, a sore on his nose and signs of neglect. But like any true captain, Morgan didn’t let rough seas sink his spirit. We shaved his tangled fur for comfort, treated the abrasion on his nose and gave him an antibiotic for a common feline infection, and made sure he’s vetted — neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. And now? He’s standing proud on deck, ready to chart a course straight into your heart! Why You’ll Love Captain Morgan: * Long, luxurious coat (that’s growing back beautifully) * Striking seal point markings and stunning blue eyes that are the same blue as found in the Caribbean * Affectionate personality * Grateful for kindness and ready to bond deeply with his human What He Needs: This charming gentleman is looking for a forever home with someone who can offer daily care, especially regular brushing to keep his glorious coat mat-free and looking shipshape. It was below freezing in January 2021 in Gaston County NC. I was out on my balcony and heard the loudest tiny kitten cries. I grabbed a can of cat food, some treats, and a flashlight, and headed downstairs to the parking lot. As I got closer to the retaining wall, the cries grew louder and I finally spotted a tiny kitten loaf…shivering. I lured her into my coat with treats and brought her inside to my warm and cozy apartment. The rest as they say, is history. Peanut loves head rubs and hiding under the bed.

Approximately 7 years old, weve had her since 9 months when a neighbor gave her up. She uses her litter box but recently has started scooting just outside of it often and we think it could be behavior related. Vet has trimmed her, health seems fine, she is a bigger cat. Almost 20lbs. Were having issues with our landlord due to the occasional messes. They aren't that bad, but he's not having it. She prefers adults, likes men and women. Not fond of small children or dogs. Not sure about other cats. She is loving on her terms and would like a calm home with someone who can spoil her and she loves looking outside!
