Story
Dusty is a fluffy black cat with impossibly soft fur and the sweetest personality. Around here, he’s lovingly known as the “fluffy little muppet” — mostly because of his fuzzy face, expressive tail, and the adorable little meows he makes when he wants dinner, treats, or playtime. Dusty can be shy when meeting new people, but he’s a gentle, sensitive boy who responds beautifully to kindness and patience. He feels safest when people approach him at his level instead of towering over him, and once he realizes you’re a friend, his sweet personality starts to shine. A few treats or some Churu go a long way toward winning him over. Once comfortable, Dusty becomes very affectionate. He loves chin rubs and will slowly melt into your hand until he ends in a dramatic full-body flop of happiness. He’s also a big fan of back scratches, which reliably activate his “elevator butt” as his fluffy majestic tail waves back and forth in pure contentment. He’s also still a playful kitten at heart and absolutely loves wand toys — especially the little worms. Dusty would do best in a home with another friendly cat to help him feel comfortable and give him a buddy to play with. Between his soft fluffy coat, tiny meows, silly tail swishes, and loving nature, Dusty is the kind of cat who quietly steals your heart. Dusty is 10.5 months old. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. He’s ready to find a patient, loving home where he can feel safe, adored, and fully himself.

Story
Meet Bovine! This little catlike, dust-fluff, semi-cow creature came to TCR with his siblings several months ago, and man was he not impressed by us. He's really perfected the art of projecting his attitude across the room with a single "look". After several months in foster, Bovine can't help but like us just a little. He's a silly goofball who is 99% talk - he still hisses and pretends that he doesn't want affection... but then we see him giving butt raises and even leaning in for pets. He EVEN purrs for us now. Bovine will need a family who can be patient with him at first and help him continue to learn that humans aren't so bad. He has never been aggressive with us but will avoid you if he's not sure about you. He can be pretty easily bribed with one of this favorite things - FOOD - so that is a good time to reinforce that pets are also great. Bovine gets along great with other cats and would thrive best in a home with another kitty pal... although he can be a bit of a turd when it comes to trying to steal everyone else's food dish. We think he could do OK with older, respectful kiddos, although young or very loud kids might be a bit much for him. We think he has so much potential, and he is just looking for the right family to help him get the rest of the way there! Bovine is a little over a year old. He has been neutered, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. He has a very long and floofy coat which is currently trimmed down to prevent him from getting matted. His future adopter will have to be amenable to keeping up with regular brushings once he learns to tolerate that! Please apply to adopt this sweet and beautiful boy, today!

Story
Everyone meet Brutus! He is quite the shy guy from the jump but with a little patience he is the fluffiest lover boy! If you're looking for help in your bakery, he's your guy. Best biscuits around, paws down. Brutus was found with his colony brother (Tuxarito) in the freezing month of January looking for food. Brutus loves to be held, brushed, and pet. We are unsure if he will get along with dogs but he does great with respectable children and other cats. Brutus is estimated to be about 4.5 years old. He is neutered, flea treated, dewormed, vaccinated, and has tested FIV+ and FeLV negative. Please don't fret! FIV+ and FIV- cats can live together harmoniously! Please apply for this sweet lover-boy today!

Story
Meet Zuko! This once scorned Hissy Prince of the Fire Nation is now the sweetest little Fire Lord. His obsession with Churu tubes knows no bounds and shows slight aggression if you’re feeding it to him too slowly. Saying that Zuko loves pets is an understatement; he’ll headbutt your hand demanding more and more pets. But he deserves every single one of them. He likes to slink close to the ground and loves rolling over for both fun and means of transportation. Zukos’ full time job is lead baker at the Biscuit Factory. He puts in overtime day in and day out. Not because he needs the money to buy more catnip, but because it’s his true passion. After his shift at the factory and the sun goes down, Zuko dons his mask and has wrestling matches with all his toys. He remains undefeated. Zuko is estimated to be 4 years old. He is neutered, flea treated, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If you're looking for a glorious orange dude to join your home, consider Zuko today!

We found Ted’s pregnant mother last spring and took her in. He was part of a four kitten litter. We have since found homes for his mom and siblings, but Ted is still in need of their forever home. This floofy little guy is so sweet and loves to snuggle! He is good with kids, other cats and dogs! He just turned 1 on May 5th. Please consider giving this sweet boy a home he deserves!
