Story
Aelin came to me as a feral kitten. She is 6 years old now and I have tried my best to help her acclimate to house life but she has not taken to the lap cat life. She gets along really well with gentle, docile cats but does not do well with more dominant personalities. She has been around dogs but usually runs from them or hides, a dog that is excellent with cats and would leave her alone is fine. Same with kids. She just hides a lot and doesn't like loud noises. I'm rehoming her due to the fact one of my cats bullies her terribly and it has been affecting Aelins health. She hides and doesn't come out to eat. She's sweet and affectionate when the bully cats aren't around and when its quiet. She will cuddle with me but hides when anything too exciting happens. She might prefer a safe place to be indoor/outdoor. She does have periodontal disease and I cannot afford the treatment. Any questions, please ask! She deserves a quiet, safe home.

Story
We adopted these cats when they were babies & have loved every minute with them. Our son has developed allergies & with another baby on the way & us traveling a lot, we feel that these boys could be happier elsewhere. They love to cuddle & play with string!

Story
Meet Melanie. Rescued from a hoarder house in Oakland with 20 other cats, this girl is ready to find her new beginning. Melanie can be a bit of a shy girl, which is understandable given her past. She likely spent her whole life popping out litters of kittens and fighting off tomcats and others for resources. She's clearly been through a lot and needs a little bit of time to warm up to new people and places. But, once she settles in, she'll be flaunting that gorgeous fluffy tail of hers and just begging for butt scritches. Melanie absolutely loves other cats despite her past and would make the perfect companion cat for other felines. She wants to be instant friends with every cat she meets and she must go to a home with cats! Melanie is 6 years old, spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested FIV/FeLV negative. She is available at the Waterfront (Homestead) Petco Adoption Center.
