Story
Main and his pal, Whiskers, want a hands-off home where they can be themselves without the pressure to interact. This bonded pair were adopted once before and returned because they were not social enough, but we think they just need someone who understands them! Whiskers is more outgoing than Main and she will lounge around near humans, but does not like to be handled. Both Whiskers and Main are very food motivated, making it easy to get near them for socialization opportunities. Cat-friendly. BARN CAT POTENTIAL! ***Application: www.treetopskittycafe.com/adoptions PetFinder and Adopt-a-Pet inquiries are not answered - please apply or email us at treetopskittycafe@gmail.com***

Story
ABOUT GRACE Meet Grace, our beautiful long-haired lady! This lovely girl was abandoned on HAP property, along with her sister, Frankie. Because no note was left with them, we don't know anything about their past. They were severely matted, to the point we had to shave them. They also had horrible teeth, many of which needed to be pulled. Unfortunately, Frankie did not make it through their ordeal and so Grace was left alone in our shelter. Because of all this, we decided to send her to one of our fosters, to allow her to decompress and adjust to her new life. Grace is a quiet lady, who enjoys a life of leisure. She loves to curl up in her fluffy beds and take a nap or enjoy a delicious treat with a friend. She is a pretty independent woman, who enjoys doing her own thing, but she enjoys having company sharing her space. Occasionally, once she's gotten to know someone, she likes climbing into their lap and spending time with them. *Grace isn't the biggest fan of other cats or dogs, so we recommend she be an only pet. We also recommend she go to a home with only adults, as loud noises can overwhelm her. **Grace is early stage kidney disease. While this can shorten a cat's lifespan, it is currently being managed with a special diet and regular vet visits to ensure she is healthy. ***If interested in adopting, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
This new friend has just arrived! They have come to us either as a transfer from another shelter, being found as a stray, or have been surrendered to us by their owner. When our friends are new to us, we are typically unsure of their full background, litter box habits, comfort with handling, or experience with other pets or children. Our staff will spend some time reviewing any information provided by previous owners and spend some time with our new friend so that we can better update their biography. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! Hi!  My name is Tres!  I am sweet and playful but can be a slight bit more cautious than my brother and sister, Uno and Dos.  However, that does not mean I will not be chasing toys around thigh and snuggling with the others.
