Story
Prince came in with Cher and they both came in from a hoarding case where there was 25 cats and five dogs staying in a motel room. Although I wouldn't say that they're necessarily completely bonded I do feel that they would do better together. Prince can be a little shy to begin with but is an extreme love bug and will cuddle with anybody that's laid back. He's very pretty boy he likes to be the center of attention.

Story
Gonzo (24-096) & Nellie (24-097) Gonzo is a 4 year old orange and white long hair male&#239&#191&#188. He is a sweet laid-back talkative guy that enjoys being pet, brushed, talked to and doted on&#239&#191&#188! He came to us with a broken back that was already starting to heal. He has gone through treatments, taking them like a champ, and is now ready to find his forever family that will be his #1 fan!&#239&#191&#188  His injury may have long-term effects, but he has no trouble with getting around he uses the litter and enjoys being a normal loving kitty&#239&#191&#188.  Nellie is a nine month old female gray tabby. She has the most amazing sweet personality! She was found with Gonzo guarding him from danger. After they got into foster she continued to care for him by keeping the other cats away as he was unable to defend himself. She is still there for him when she feels she is needed. Nellie is such a calm, quiet, petite little girl that deserves so much love and attention from her forever family. This duo needs to go to a home that has no dogs! Unfortunately, neither one is very fond of them. They would accept a more laid-back feline member as part of the family, but would like one that will not be in their face or too rambunctious around them. They enjoy peace & tranquility and would love a nice sunny window to pass their day away.&#239&#191&#188March 27, 2024, 8:55 pm

Story
Birthday: August 4, 2023 Sterling Jack is as strong as sterling silver and just as precious!  He was first spotted in a development in the Lancaster area.  He was a sneaky one, as it took a while to trap him for rescue!  After a few months, someone managed to snag the little rascal and sought out medical attention.  The poor guy's eyes were in rough shape, and no one knew if he would be able to see again.  Unfortunately, his left eye was too far gone to be saved, and it was removed.  His right eye was fortunately salvageable, but it wasn't in the best of shape.  Sterling Jack can see out of it, but he still suffers from partial blindness.   After his surgery, Sterling Jack was moved to a foster home to recover and learn how to socialize.  One can only imagine how scared and unsure this little guy must have been when he first arrived.  Thankfully, it didn't take him long to learn that he had no reason to fear!  His foster parents knew that you needed to take it slow with him because of his limited eyesight, and it was the key to earning his trust.  He still hopes that his future family will continue this habit since it can be incredibly jarring to see something you didn't know was there!  We think that he will do wonders in a home with no small children who might be more inclined to do this as well as dogs. What about other cats?  Well, we are happy to report that Sterling Jack gets along with other kitty cats just fine!  It seems he understands how they operate, so he's able to ascertain their movements and behaviors a little easier!   What about his personality?  Well, we propose another question to you!  Have you ever had a sugar bun?  Because that's what this boy is!  This long haired poof of a man is absolutely one of the sweetest kitties you'd ever meet!  He'll sit with you on the couch and take the time to have a one-on-one snuggle session with you!  Though he has a handicap, that doesn't stop him from having a bit of fun!  Playtime is always a good time with this handsome devil! Sterling Jack's adoption donation is $175 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter. Story
Phoenix is a handsome gray long haired male kitten who was found in a mobile home park under a trailer with his light gray and black tabby brother, Peanut, and their mommy. Phoenix and Peanut are just a little bit shy at first but when they get to know you all that shyness disappears! They love to play with each other and the other cats and they get along with everyone. They are very loving and affectionate once they know you. Phoenix and Peanut are looking to be adopted together since they do so well as a pair. If interested in Peanut and Phoenix, please text Shirley at 717-608-6837. Their adoption donation is $225 for both, which includes a microchip, age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, and Felv/FIV testing (negative). They are neutered and have rabies shots. Thank you for looking and perhaps considering our cats to be part of your family. Please note: LCCR does not allow our adopted cats and kittens to be declawed. All adopted kitties are to be kept as indoor-only pets.
