Story
Hi! My name is Callie and I am about 9 months old. I was found with my kittens under a deck. When my kittens and I came to the Pet Pantry we were sent out to foster so I could finish helping my kittens grow. I have done such an amazing job they do not need me anymore. I am a sweet girl who is now hoping to find her furever home. I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccines. I am available for adoption at the Pet Pantry’s main facility, 26 Millersville Road, Lancaster. If you think I may be the purrfect match for your family please fill out an adoption application! Applications are available at our location as well as online at petpantrylc.org. From there, our adoption coordinator will be in touch! June 9, 2023, 11:31 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :)When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :)Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.   A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!May 31, 2023, 5:06 pm

Story
We got Sneezer from the SPCA In late 2018 when he was about a year old. We had 1 other cat at that time. Sneezer got along great with the other cat but he was a little shy and still is to a point. For about 3 years he was using the liter box ok but for some reason he started using the floor at times when we got a third cat. Come to find out, he does not like sharing the liter boxes with the other 2 cats. We had 3 liter boxes. We decided that Sneezer should be rehomed because of his problem sharing the liter boxes. Sneezer is a great cat and would work out well with someone that only has one other cat. He is a somewhat large cat, with medium long fur. Very playful when you play with him letting him chase an object on a string and also plays with cat toys. We have became attached to him but we are very attached to our other cats as well. The only reason we are rehoming Sneezer is because of his liter box behavior. He would be great in a home with only one other cat playmate.

Story
Ben is a special needs kitty but don't let that worry you. He was born with CH aka cerebellar hypoplasia. This means that when he walks his hind legs and hips wobble. He also shakes his head a bit when eating but it doesn't bother him because it's all he has ever known. He is very sweet but nervous when first meeting someone. He would do best in a calm household and very understanding pets. Some animals can be startled by how he moves so a lovey-dovey fur friend would be great. Story
Leo is a very active beautiful 2 year old 14 pound healthy cat. I adopted Leo from a freind. Her cat gave birth to 4 kittens and i choose Leo at 8 weeks old. He wants to play all the time. He is very loving and wants attention all the time. He loves to snuggle up next to you if he's not playing. Leo will follow you everywhere. He's not very experienced on going outside. If worked with he could walk on a leash with your patience. He will need to be socialized with other pets with your patience I know he will do well. I really want the best home and new owner to give him all the love and attention that he deserves. I showed Leo lots of love all the time. Leo is a great companion. Thank you

Story
Truman Van Dyke is a big, handsome scaredy cat that needs some time and love, and will be a wonderful pet. He’s probably around two years old. He is a big fluff ball and looks somewhat like a Maine Coon. He is good with other cats. At this point, we would only recommend older calm children. He came from a very bad hoarding situation, so he needs patience, and a clean and loving environment. He enjoys being combed. He also has a long-haired, gorgeous orange brother in the same situation if you’re looking for two.  June 9, 2023, 10:01 am
