Story
Macha is the most loving sweet boy. He comes with a carrier and bed. He came from a home with young children and big dogs and other cats and was abused. He has issues with a litter box because kids and dogs would terrorize him when he was using it. He will use it as long as he's the only cat and theres nothing to spook him. He also will use a puppy pad. He has anxiety which causes asthma attacks. He doesn't bite or scratch or have any other issues. Its just the potty training that really needs work. The asthma is fine as long as his world is calm. He needs a calm loving home. No other animals or young children. Just him and his person. He is a big lump that loves to cuddle and would do well in a quiet home with a person who has a lot of love and patience.

Story
Like his hobbit namesake, Merry is highly sociable, sweet-natured, seemingly optimistic despite having seen more of the world and its cruelty than he might have liked, and is very much motivated by food. He is estimated to be 1 - 3 years old. He would love to be in a home with people and/or cats who have time to hang out with him. He is the sort of cat who will meow for you when he is alone and bored and who will start to purr as soon as you sit next to him.   Merry would like nothing better than to sit next to you while looking out the window and occasionally receiving some pets on the head. He is FIV+, so he should be an indoor-only cat, and if there are other cats in the home it would be best if they were also FIV+ although FIV is not transferred by grooming, sharing dishes and litter boxes and with normal care and good food he will live a normal life.    Merry was recently rescued from homelessness and the snow and is working on litter box training. He is currently living with elementary-aged children and is highly affectionate with them. We have not seen him around younger children, but he is so people-oriented and so mellow that we suspect he'd be great with younger children too.  Merry's rehoming fee is $50.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 27, 2024, 11:42 am

Story
This beautiful gray fluffy girl is looking for love! She is the softest, sweetest little snuggle who loves to have her chin scratched, will bump against your legs for attention and talk to you when she's waiting for food. She's not too scared of our dog and loves the other cat she's with but I think she'd be a sweet solo cat also. Feel free to ask questions of her foster family.

Cats: YesDogs: unsure Kids: older or adult onlyMedical: She has pillow paw (aka Feline plasma cell pododermatitis (PCP)), so she may need medication when she has flair ups, they can also go to remission after treatment and can be fine for a long time. The cause of PCP is somewhat unknown and there may be an allergy component that can cause the swelling.

Story
Hello, My name is Cornelius. I am a special boy looking for some special people to help me live my best life. I came to OFOSA injured and incontinent from that injury. I have a limp but I am mobile and love to climb but do need to wear diapers. You can see me in some of my cute diapers in my pictures. I only have a stub left of my tail that might make me look even cuter, but I don't care, I can't feel it anyway. I love people and love playing. I don't like when people are trying to do something to me while I am trying to play and get pet, such as put on my diaper, bathe me, or trim my nails. But, I am doing great with getting distracted with a treat while getting my diaper put on. I am a very busy young man so as long as you give me enough playtime I will also sit next to you for a petting session. If you pet my head I will be your best friend. And I am a bit of a goofball so will make you laugh often. Do you like big cats? Perfect, I am about 13 pounds.Do you like to laugh? I can certainly make that happen. I am a goofball.Do you like cats with lots of fur? Great, I have very fluffy paws and a cute poof of hair on my tail as well as plenty of other soft, thick fur to pet.Do you hate cleaning litter boxes? Well, I don't need one. You will have to change my diapers though.Do you like to dress up cats? Since I wear diapers, you can get my washable diapers is so many different colors and designs.Cats: Yes, but I kinda bug other cats sometimes, so looking for young playful cats like me to live with.Dogs: Probably notKids: Older or adult onlySpecial: Incontinent. Wears diapers when free roaming. Has a slight limp but very mobile. Needs regular sanitary trims of groin area due to long fur and being incontinent.
