Story
Hi, my name is Vinnie and me and my best bud,Thea are looking for a home to live out our lives. I am a very sweet 16 year old. I get along with everyone, even the dog! The most important thing for me is to be with my best buddy. I haven't really been around young kids, but the older ones might be nice to pet me. I am known to be quite the snuggler. Our person moved out of the country and couldn't take use with them. As with all of us seniors, I have my issues. I am eating the prescription food for kidney disease and need to have daily sub-q fluids. It is really not that difficult to learn how to do that. The folks at SCC would be happy to help you learn. I am current on my vaccines, microchipped and very good with the litterbox.September 29, 2023, 10:04 pm

Story
I’m a sweet loving 4 year old girl. I have a beautiful long black coat with two white patches. When I was younger my tail was broken in a couple of places but it is fine. I am very friendly and I love to be petted. I will reward you with lots of purrs. I like to play and cuddle and will talk to you. I'm not real fond of changes so it might take me a day or so to warm up and start coming to you. My previous owner moved to a place with no cats allowed so I needed to find a new home. I’ve not been around dogs so I'm not sure what I think. I am okay with cats and get along with children. I have been spayed, microchipped, received all my vaccinations, dewormed and tested for FeLV/FIV so I’m good to go to my new home. Please fill out an application for me at www.sccpets.com.September 29, 2023, 10:04 pm

Story
Hi, My name is Marceline - and I am a petite but sassy girl looking for a quieter home. You see, I live in a busy home with young kids and my sister cat. I do like my family, but the little ones are a bit noisy and that just stresses me out. I have been taking out my frustration on my sister - so, she isn't happy either. My human parents think that I would be happier as an only cat. So, let me tell you a bit about me. I might need a bit of patience as I adjust to my new home but once comfortable, I do love to play fetch with my treats and I have some mad hunting skills with my toys. I might not be a lap cat, but I do like to sit beside my human parents when the house is quiet. I have lived an indoor life and that suits me fine. But a perch by the window to watch the world go by. I am current on my vaccines, microchipped and very good with the litter box.September 29, 2023, 10:04 pm

Story
My adoption fee is waived September 29 through October 1. Thanks to our friends at Mars Petcare and their 15th Annual Adoption Weekend, more pets like me are finding new homes!Hello I'm Marmalade. I'm an older gal who has learned exactly what I want out of life. I like pets and attention, but I want them on my terms. If you're lucky enough for me to choose you, you'll be rewarded with a spirited companion who is sweet and independent. I really just want a nice quiet home where I can relax, enjoy my golden years, and get some cheek scratches whenever I'm in the mood for them. If you think we'd be a good fit I'd love to meet you! Here's what I need in my new home: I'm sensitive about how and where I'm handled. I need a family who will respect my space.I would do best in a home with kids over age 10.I would like to meet any kids I might be living with.I would prefer to be the only cat in my new home. Story
Long-haired, gray and white with a cute pink nose. Ragdoll/Ragamuffin Breed (best guess) A GREAT COMPANION + EXTREME CUTENESS! All vaccinations/ flea treatments are current. She is spayed and microchipped and is currently on her vet checkups. Fancy Pants would thrive in a peaceful home as an only cat with no children or dogs. She may do well with one other calm kitty. This girl would love a window overlooking a garden oasis. She has added so much love and joy to my home during her stay. She is very good-natured and affectionate and needs time to come out of her shell in a new environment. Once she does, she will be your cuddle buddy and her playful, smart and fun side shines through. At first, expect her to hide under things. Fancy Pants LOVES: Patés cat food Catnip String, balls, toy mice, feathers Lots of TLC Dislikes: Loud Street Traffic Noise Forceful/ Aggressive movements If you are interested in meeting Fancy Pants please email adoption@columbiahumane.orFor more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgSeptember 27, 2023, 7:38 am

Story
Very lovey, relaxed, plays often, cuddle bug. I absolutely love her and it kills me to think about moving on without her. 4 years old. Was rejected as kitten by initial owners and wandered on to my now ex girlfriends property and I decided to adopt it instead since she has 3 cats and Estrella here has never been good around other cats.

Story
Meet the beautiful May Flower! May is an absolutely gorgeous (and rare!) long-haired dilute calico. May has loved human affection from the moment she was brought in from the streets. She LOVES to be pet, and happily reciprocates with lots and lots of purrs to show her appreciation. She also loves belly rubs and making air biscuits! She is getting more and more comfortable around people each day, and we suspect this girl could turn out to be quite the lap kitty! May and her four babies were rescued when the babies were just about a month old. They were strays that had found their way onto someone's back porch for some protection from the elements and from predators. May enjoys the quiet and calm lifestyle now that she doesn't have to sleep with one eye open as a Texas stray. She would love a low-key household with any other cats or dogs being mellow and just as chill as she is! May is very easy going and with a cat tree or perch in a big window she would be happy to spend countless hours watching the birds and squirrels go by! Oh and did we mention she is gorgeous?! Apply to adopt May below! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6515c48ac8c58c277a0f39ad Questions? Please email EmilyC@threelittlepittiesrescue.org Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO, UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada (Canadian adopter must pick up in Bellingham, WA), and now the East Coast! Our PNW cats are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $375 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (2 to 3 depending on age and time in the program), FIV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a 30-day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.), a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 5-year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $25 surcharge for transport.
