Story
Help Rehome Tucker This is Tucker, a handsome, neutered boy looking for the right forever home. He is microchipped, litter box trained, and has spent a little time outdoors (though he’s still a bit skittish about the big wide world). Tucker has a truly sweet side. He greets me at the door when I get home from work and loves being petted. He enjoys companionship and will happily follow me from room to room just to be nearby. Like many young or energetic cats, Tucker can sometimes get overstimulated or bored, which has shown as ankle biting or playful aggression. I believe he would do best in a home that understands cat behavior and can provide plenty of enrichment—and possibly other animals to interact with, as I think he would thrive with more stimulation than I can currently provide. This decision is being made with Tucker’s best interest at heart. He deserves a home where he can feel fulfilled, secure, and loved. If you or someone you know might be a good fit for Tucker, please message me for more details. Sharing is greatly appreciated. January 15, 2026, 1:08 pm

Story
Meet Thistle — a teeny, fluffy grey kitten who looks like she was made entirely of soft intentions and gentle squeaks.Thistle is petite and precious, with a round little face, cloud-soft fur, and a sweet, tiny meow that sounds more like a question than a sound. She uses it often—just to check in, to ask for affection, or to announce that she has arrived (very bravely) in the room. It is impossible not to melt when she does. She’s affectionate in the most heart-stealing way: slow blinks, careful snuggles, and curling up against you like she fits there perfectly—which, somehow, she does. Thistle loves being held, being near, and being adored, and she accepts praise as if it is both deserved and expected. Playtime comes in short, enthusiastic bursts, followed immediately by naps that make her look even smaller than she already is.Soft, sweet, and overwhelmingly cute, Thistle feels like a kitten you can’t believe is real—one tiny meow at a time. *Kittens under 16 weeks of age must be homed with another cat or adopted in pairs for their social developmentAdoption fee includes:&#226&#156&#133 Spay/Neuter&#226&#156&#133 Vaccines&#226&#156&#133 Microchip&#226&#156&#133 Treated for fleas and worms Interested in meeting Thistle?Email us at: adoption@columbiahumane.org to request an application.Adoption Fee: $175For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgFebruary 7, 2026, 6:54 am

Story
Piper is one of the most beautiful cats we have seen in a long time. She should be a Spokes Model Cat for an advertising agency. Piper knows how to "work the camera", always making sure you see her best side. She doesn't take a bad picture. She is a gentle girl, loves to be held and cuddled. But isn't she just gorgeous!! She is a social kitty, meets new people easily. And she's gorgeous!!

Story
Murphy is a long hair male indoor cat. He loves sunbathing, liquid pate, and a quiet house. He enjoys playing with dogs on his own terms. He tolerates young children however, it would be best if he were in a home without children. He really needs a quiet calm home. He isn't interested in playing with toys but loves a good cuddle. He also needs a place where he can get his scratches out.

Story
Lucy came into my life when her former owner was no longer able to keep her, and I was grateful to offer her a stable, loving home during that transition. She settled in beautifully and has such a unique, endearing personality. Lucy is curious and expressive, often “chatting” softly to let you know she’s nearby. She enjoys sunny windowsills, gentle head scratches, and being in the same room as her people without being overly demanding. She has a playful streak, especially with feather toys, but she’s just as happy lounging and observing the world around her. Recently, my partner and I welcomed a new baby, and with the time and energy our little one requires, we can’t give Lucy the consistent attention she deserves. We’re hoping to find her a patient, loving home where she can feel safe, valued, and truly part of the family again.
