Story
*** Ben is in a foster home. ***Ben #10504: dark gray tabby & white, medium hair, declawed, neut. male, born 4/4/14Cats: must be only catDogs: noChildren: calm / respectful tweens+ BACKGROUND: Ben first came to The Rescue House when he was three days old; he was bottle-raised and then adopted. Eleven years later, he came back to our care when he and his brother could no longer tolerate each other following a lengthy gap when they’d been living apart.PERSONALITY: Ben is a very sweet and affectionate kitty with a strong purr engine! He likes interactions to be low-key and calm. Soft and gentle pets on his head and body (though please don’t touch his tail), and scritches around his ears and chin are very nice indeed. Once Ben gets to know you and is comfortably settled in, he may even roll over so you can rub his belly. He can get overstimulated if things get too vigorous and will let you know at those times; he’s a vocal guy, and he’s good about communicating when he wants your attention and when he wants his space. Don’t worry, Ben loves people and there will be plenty of opportunities for interaction… he’s just a classic cat who likes to call the shots. His favorite toys are kicker toys, especially when they have catnip and silvervine in them. He also loves his breakfast, and isn’t shy about asking for a meal… and he thinks a tasty lickable tube treat for a snack is always a good idea!COMPATIBILITY: Ben needs to be your only fur-child. He prefers a calm home where he is not petted or handled too roughly, though he’s generally good with strangers who respect those wishes. We haven’t seen him around children, though suspect that younger or rowdier ones would not be to his taste and he’d do better with older cat-savvy kids 11 and up.Big Ben is a sweetheart who is ready to settle in with his forever person. Will it be you?

Story
Pumpkin a 6 month old kitten who is just the sweetest! She loves to play with her mom and my friendly small dog. She is also a total cuddle bug and loves people. In a perfect world she would be adopted with her sweet mom (2 years old), but would also be okay adopted alone as long as there is another animal in the house for her to play with. Pumpkin’s mom was surrendered to me when she was days away from labor. She went into labor while cuddling me, and gave birth to Pumpkin and 3 other healthy kittens. Pumpkin would thrive in a home with nice people and another pet. Please consider opening your heart and home to this sweetheart. Pumpkin is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Story
Muffin is such a sweet cat who loves people! In a perfect world she would be adopted with her 6 month old baby girl, but she’s also okay being adopted alone as the only cat in the house. She gets along very well with my friendly small dog, but is not a fan of other cats (aside from her kitten). She would be happiest in a home where she can nap and cuddle to her heart’s content. Please consider opening your heart and home to this sweet girl! Muffin was surrendered to me when she was days away from labor, and went into labor while cuddling me. She is 2 years old, spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Story
Sinatra DOB ~10/11/25 Fostered in Vista Handsome Sinatra is a sensitive soul who’s learning that the world isn’t so scary after all. He startles easily and needs time to feel safe, but he’s already responding beautifully to the gentle care of his foster family. With patience, soft voices, and slow introductions, Sinatra is beginning to show his sweet personality and curiosity. He’ll thrive in a quiet, understanding home that can offer him stability and kindness as he continues to grow braver each day. If you have a soft spot for shy kittens and want to help one blossom, Sinatra may be the perfect match. As with all TTF kittens, Sinatra is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, treated for parasites and microchipped.
