To love Eclair is to be bullied by Eclair. If you're sick of being in charge of your own life, look no further. Eclair will run your life for you. She'll be the boss of you AND everyone around you. She likes things the way she likes them, wants things when she wants them and, no, you don't get to have an opinion about it. She doesn't need a crown to know that she's a queen and she is THE queen diva.Eclair is two years old so if you're not ready for 12-14+ more years of being bullied by a cat...look for a different cat.Eclair WILL slap you. There are no ifs, ands, or buts. It's not a matter of "if", it's a matter of "when" and "how hard". The good thing is she generally doesn't use her claws unless you don't get the hint the first three or four times and then the gloves are coming off. You can't afford the audacity it takes to disrespect her boundaries so don't even try to cash that check.A true sour patch kid, Eclair is the actual sweetest when she wants to be. She loves pets (until she doesn't) and will actively seek out attention and rub up against your legs. She's a purr machine and an absolute love. She loves churus, she's photogenic, and she LOVES play time! And then you inevitably do something to irritate her and, well, if it isn't the consequences of your actions!Eclair tolerates other cats. Barely. It may be best for her to just...be the only cat. She has zero patience, needs everyone in a ten mile radius to know that she's the one in charge, and has no problem causing a ruckus to establish a hierarchy. We love a queen that knows her worth 💅ðŸ\x8F»No kids. Obviously. And she hates dogs. So. There's that.To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application. Story
Daisy is the kind of cat who knows how to make herself right at home—and she’s happy to charm her way into your heart to get it. This big-hearted tabby is all about the love. Daisy is friendly, affectionate, and deeply people-oriented—the kind of cat who genuinely enjoys being held, happily soaks up attention, and melts under a good brushing session. (Bonus points if churro treats are involved.) Simply put, she’s not subtle about her favorite things. Daisy is also on a wellness glow-up journey and would love a human partner who’s excited to help her add a little more playtime and movement into her daily routine. Think gentle exercise, interactive toys, enrichment games, and plenty of encouragement—she’s motivated by praise, affection, and snacks (within reason 😉). While Daisy is confident in her charm, she can be sensitive to change. She’ll thrive in a calm home where she can settle in at her own pace and enjoy lots of one-on-one time. She’s happiest when she has her people all to herself, where she can soak up the spotlight and return that devotion tenfold. If you’re looking for a cat who wants to be close—really close—Daisy might just be your girl. She’s ready to be adored, brushed, cuddled, and cheered on every step of the way. Interested in Daisy? Please call us at 401.846.8276, stop by our Animal Care & Adoption Center in Middletown to meet her, or visit www.potterleague.org for more information about adopting.

Story
🌰 Meet Hazel – Beautiful, Bashful, and All About Her Fellow Felines Hazel is a stunning 3.5-year-old torbie with a heart that beats strongest for her fellow cats. Trapped as an older kitten, Hazel missed out on early human socialization—but she’s made strides at the shelter and continues to blossom at her own pace. She’s not a lap cat (and might never be), but she is the kind of cat who will light up at the sight of a laser pointer, pounce with enthusiasm on feather toys, and thrive in the company of other cats. Hazel is a true "cat's cat"—she loves to snuggle, follow, and play with her feline friends. Hazel is looking for a very special adopter: someone with patience, compassion, and a quiet home where she can continue to learn that people aren’t so scary. She’ll need to start off in a crate while she adjusts and will take time (and possibly treat bribes) to get comfortable. Right now, petting is reserved for mealtimes, and that may always be the case—but if you’ve got the heart to love a work-in-progress, Hazel is worth the wait. She’d do best in a home with another outgoing and confident cat who can show her the ropes and help her feel safe. With the right feline buddy and a human who understands her boundaries, Hazel has a real shot at growing into the confident cat she was meant to be. Do you have room in your heart for a shy beauty who just needs a little extra time and a lot of love? Hazel’s waiting. 💛 Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. The bio is the best place to find the most current and important information about their needs, personality, and ideal home. Thank you for your interest in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue!
