Story
These two are from the same litter. Sisters! They have never been apart. They are sweet and affectionate. They love each other!! They live for treats. They eat twice a day, and sleep in between. I have recently been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and I am not able to continue caring for them. It will kill me to see them go. I don’t have another choice. Please consider them both. I couldn’t split them up and expect them to be happy and comfortable. Thank you.

Story
Meet Cookies 🍪🐾 Cookies is a sweet, playful young cat who’s just beginning to settle in and show us his charming personality. He came to the shelter with his sister and has already shown himself to be a gentle, affectionate boy. Cookies has been around kids and did well, and he enjoys playtime mixed with cozy moments where he can relax and take everything in. Cookies is still new to us, so we’re continuing to get to know him, but so far he’s been friendly, curious, and full of potential. He may do well with other cats given proper introductions. If you’re looking for a young kitty who’s ready to grow into a loving companion, Cookies could be the perfect match. 💛🐱

Story
After lovingly raising her kitten, Maple is ready to relax and soak up affection from the forever family she’s hoping to find. With fur as soft as velvet, Maple makes it impossible to resist petting her back, belly, and ears. She’s learning to enjoy being brushed and will reward you with contented purrs. Though she may be shy at first, Maple blossoms once she feels comfortable in her surroundings. As her confidence grows, she’ll seek you out for attention, leaning gently against your legs to ask for pets or simply to say hello, and will charm you with her slow, loving blinks. Maple enjoys curling up on a soft blanket, especially in a cozy nook of a cat tree, or finding a quiet spot under a bed or couch. She’s still discovering the joy of toys and prefers to play on her own terms; wand toys can make her nervous unless she’s the one dragging them around the house. This beautiful girl is looking for a patient home that understands she may need time to fully settle in. While she may not always be out in the open, sitting beside you on the couch, or ready to be held right away, Maple’s affection shines through once trust is built. She gets along well with other cats but would also be happy as the only cat, soaking up lots of attention. Maple has lived with children ages 10 and up and enjoys their company. Her experience with dogs is currently unknown.

Story
Chaucer & Betty might not be litter-mates, but they certainly are bffs! Both cats are about 2 years old, and are looking for an adult-only home (that is going remain adult-only). Betty is spunky and curious. She's always the first one to investigate anything new at her foster home, and is a mighty hunter of feathered toys and any poor bug that happens to cross her path! She's the perfect mix of sassy and sweet. Chaucer is sweet and shy to start, but is such a loving boy. He loves playing with fishing pole toys and burrowing under blankets. At Chaucer's first vet visit we found he had a heart murmur, then his cardiologist found the reason is because he has a hole in his heart. But his recent cardiologist visit showed only minimal progression, and possibly even a little closing of the hole! With once daily medicine (a pill which he takes very easily in a pill pocket treat) and a low sodium diet (non prescription), his cardiologist believes he may very well lead a normal life! Chaucer will just need to have an ultrasound of his heart yearly to keep tabs on any changes. If you're interested in giving Chaucer & Betty a home together, please fill out an application! If you're reading this ad, we're still accepting applications! The first step to meeting them and adoption is to fill out an application here: APPLICATION --> https://tinyurl.com/yvys3tnr Application Process: 1) Fill out an application 2) We will call your vet for a reference (if you have or had pets--PLEASE CALL YOUR VET TO GIVE THEM PERMISSION TO TALK TO US!) 3) If we think you might be a good match for any of our cats, we'll contact you to chart further. Adoption fee is $300 for the pair. All our cats have had an exam, are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FeLv tested, microchipped, and dewormed.
