Story
Parker arrived as a very scared, feral kitten who wasnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t sure what to think about people. He went to foster care, where he slowly learned that humans can be pretty okay after all. Parker is still a worried boy, so he will need a calm, patient home where his new people understand that trust takes time. A friendly, confident kitty friend (or two!) will help show him the ropes and reassure him that heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s safe and loved. With plenty of patience, gentle encouragement, and consistency, Parker will continue to make progress at his own pace. This sweet boy is looking for adopters who believe in giving shy kitties the time they need to bloom. Watching Parker gain confidence and learn to trust will be a truly rewarding journey.OTHER PETS: Parker must have a social kitty or two to play with and to learn from.OWNER EXPERIENCE: Parker's adopters must have experience with scared / worried kitties and their socialization.KIDS: Parker's adopters should be older teens and adults only.ACTIVITY LEVEL: Parker is currntly a couch potato. Parker does not know how to play. He has no idea what he is missing out on. A patient adopter and social kitty friends will be wonderful for him.VETERINARY CARE: Parker is looking forward to meeting his new vet and receiving regular vet care.LEVEL OF SOCIALIZATION: Parker is in need of a home where his new famiily is comfortable helping a scared kitty to blossom.GROOMING: Parker takes good care of his coat.
