Story
These cats are not well-suited as indoor only pets and can help families looking for natural rodent and pest control on their property. Because they are independent, they do best as indoor/outdoor cats. These cats typically enjoy free access to the outdoors, where they can come and go at will. Territorial by nature, they’ll rarely venture far from their home. They understand the safety of shelter and predictability of a food source in the shed, barn or garage where they are housed and fed. Barn cats do best in groups. Like all cats, outdoor cats require: – Shelter from predators and the elements – Clean, fresh water – Healthy, regular diet – Veterinary care when needed As an adopter, you should understand that these cats are unlikely to become social, affectionate lap cats. They will most likely remain shy and skittish around people but may warm up to those who take care of them, particularly those who feed them. Our outdoor cats are: – Spayed/Neutered – Up to date on vaccines – Have tested negative for FeLV/FIV

Story
Domino - Male DOB 5/24/2025 Domestic Medium Hair - Black & White Meet Domino!  Domino was found as a stray in the local area and we just couldn’t leave him out in the cold so we took him in and gave him a warm place to sleep, food to fill his belly, and people who would care for him.  Domino is a tuxedo colored chatty little companion who loves to narrate his day to anyone willing to listen. He purrs almost nonstop and is happiest snuggled up under the covers with his favorite humans. Friendly with both people and other cats, Domino is playful and especially adores toys with bells—though he can get a bit possessive of his favorites. He sports an impressive, poofy tail and melts when you scratch his back. Domino is ready to bring affection, personality, and plenty of purrs to his new forever home.  Domino will need to go home with another friendly, playful cat, and older children who can give him space and respect would be ok.   Please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.  Our application is available to be completed online at  https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/  Applying DOES NOT guarantee approval.  We hold meet and greets with approved applications only.  (Kittens are available for adoption in pairs only unless they are going home to another kitten or young cat under 3) Our policy is strictly NO DECLAWING and INDOOR ONLY. Adoption fees: Kitten to 1 yr - $300  Kitten pairs $550 Adult cat 1+ yr to 8 yr - $200 Adult pairs $350 Cat 8+ - $75 November 16, 2025, 5:58 pm

Story
Green Bean was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. He is a darling little man who looks like he will have a medium-hair length coat when he grows up - so handsome!! Green Bean is not a super outgoing boy, but he is friendly and does enjoy attention from humans. He's just not sure how to go about asking for that attention, but we're positive his fur-ever family will help him figure that out! This playful young lad enjoys jingle bell ball toys, any type of fishing pole style toy, and of course, the good old fashioned cardboard box that he thinks is a toy. Green Bean is currently living in a colony kitten room and getting along well with the other kittens there. His bashful charm and mild floof will easily win your heart - come meet Green Bean today! If you'd like to meet Green Bean and all of his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Have questions? Call (603) 772-2921 ext. 110 or email info@nhspca.org today. Primary Color: Black Weight: 1.99 Age: 0yrs 3mths 1wks

Story
Ralph appeared on our doorstep as a 7-week-old kitten in August 2019 so he is now 6 and 1/2 years old. I moved from our three-story house to an apartment in December 2020, and then into a smaller apartment in January 23. Now I am moving across the country into an even smaller place and cannot take him with me. He is a friendly cat, and will go up to new people to say hello. He has had a good relationship with a chihuahua but has not been living with a dog recently or with another cat. I think he would thrive with more space and more activity around him than I have been able to give him for the last several years. He can be grumpy, and the vet has prescribed kitty Prozac to smooth him out. I wonder whether that would be necessary in a larger space with more than one person. He is a great companion and I will miss him terribly.
