Story
Sprinkles - Female DOB 8/16/2023 Domestic Medium Hair - Tortoiseshell Like festive holiday sprinkles, this gorgeous tortie will bring a dash of sweetness and joy to your life! Sprinkles is just over a year old, with flowing long hair and a personality that’s as delightful as her name suggests. She’s a little silly, just the right amount of playful, and loves gentle pets—but she’s not quite ready to be picked up (yet!). Unlike the typical tortie, Sprinkles doesn’t have the usual “tortitude,” making her an easygoing and charming companion. She enjoys independence and often naps in her special spot. Sprinkles doesn't care to have other cats close by her, and she will let them know with a hiss and a cuff. Sprinkles would do best as your solo queen. She’d likely do well with older children and not quite sure about dogs just yet. Sprinkles is ready to make your holidays and every day after that a little brighter with her sweetness and charm. Story
Herman - Male Neutered DOB 6/11/2021 Domestic Medium Hair Black -   Meet Harold and Herman! These sweet three-year-old brothers have already faced more than their fair share of challenges. They were recently returned to us after struggling to adjust to other cats in their new home.  They were first returned to us a couple of months ago after struggling to adjust to a new baby in their previous home, they've been feeling overwhelmed and in need of a fresh start. Harold and Herman are now in a quiet foster home, slowly rediscovering their confidence. They've been through so much, yet despite their shyness, they've begun to show glimmers of their playful and affectionate selves—especially when a wand toy is nearby. After a couple weeks of settling into their foster home, they have come out of their shells and seem to be happy again.   What Harold and Herman long for most is a safe, calm, forever home where they can finally relax, heal, and trust again. They would thrive in a household without other cats, children, or dogs—just a cozy, quiet place where they can feel secure. Harold and Herman have been through a lot together, and now, they deserve the chance to experience the warmth of a family who will love them just as they are. With time, patience, and a bit of care, these two will reward you with the deepest bond imaginable. They dream of finding a sunny spot to stretch out in and a kind heart to call their own. Could that be you?  All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.  Our application is available to be completed online at  https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/  Applying DOES NOT guarantee approval.  We hold meet and greets with approved applications only.  (Kittens are available for adoption in pairs only unless they are going home to another kitten or young cat under 3) Our policy is strictly NO DECLAWING and INDOOR ONLY. Story
Tilly - Female DOB 4/24/2024 Domestic Medium Hair - Black/Silver Tabby Tilly is a seven-month-old stunner with a soft, medium-length coat and the fluffiest tail you’ve ever seen! She has a gentle, quiet nature and may take a little time to settle into new surroundings, but once she feels at home, her sweet and affectionate personality will truly blossom. In time, Tilly might even become a devoted lap cat. This lovely girl gets along well with other cats and would thrive in a home with a feline companion to keep her company. While she’s not bonded, she spent time in southern foster care with her friend Tori, and the two are a great match if you’re looking to adopt a pair. Tilly is used to living with dogs and kids and has no problem with the occasional loud noise, so she’s well-suited for a busy household. One of her favorite pastimes is lounging by a window, watching the birds and squirrels go about their day—a perfect activity for a serene, curious cat like her. Story
Meet Mango, a 10-week-old orange tabby with a sweetness that matches his name! This little fruit came in as a stray and is still a bit shy and cautious, but with time and patience, he’ll ripen into the perfect companion. Mango is calm and gentle, though still a little fearful as he learns to trust. He’d thrive best in a home with another calm kitty friend to help show him the way and give him the confidence he needs. Just like the juiciest mango, he’ll need a little time to peel back his layers, but when he does, his sweetness will shine through.Come meet Mango and watch this little fruit blossom into the purrfect companion!

Story
So many stories in the rescue world about cats and they all seem to have the same start all too often and too sad.  This stunning grey tabby and white boy is called Chester, he is just barely one year of age and born to a stray momma cat.  Living outdoors all his life, his momma brought him and his littermates to a family house where she hoped to be fed and to care for her litter born outside a home.  Somehow her 4 kittens survived and here is Chester to prove that miracles can happen for these lost and forgotten mommas and their babies.  Chester is now a very handsome 13 pound boy that has been invited inside a foster home and is being given the wide berth to relax and make himself at home as a pampered and well fed adult cat.  He’s still super shy and will hide a lot under the bed, but he is starting to come out for some play time and chin scratches.  In just 4 days he has made such strides and advancements to allow toys to entice him to come out several times without fear and allow his new foster mom Joyce to pet him and given him chin rubs.  He is learning to be petted and to trust this new foster mom.  He and his littermates are all grown up but very young and they are getting better with the litterbox training and are eating with a hearty appetite.  We feel that time and patience will see Chester and his siblings stay out from under a bed or in hiding more and more as they learn they are safe and have a promise of food and love every day for the rest of their life.  If you are interested in helping Chester learn daily how to receive love and be happy with being touched, then please email us and ask to foster him or adopt him.   Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com we are anxious to find a capable home to love him all the way. Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.  November 4, 2024, 11:48 pm
