Story
Arielle - Female DOB 2/26/2023 Domestic Medium Hair Gray/White Tabby - Meet Arielle! Arielle is a gentle soul who is slowly finding her way into the comfort of our quiet room. She’s a bit shy right now, but her gentle nature keeps shining through.  As a mother to five adorable kittens (who have all found loving homes), Arielle showed boundless love and care. Now, it's her turn to receive all the love and attention she deserves! With her quiet demeanor, Arielle adores the simple pleasures of being pampered and receiving gentle strokes. She embodies all the qualities of royalty: elegance, beauty, and gentleness. Arielle loves to make biscuits the whole time she is being petted.  Arielle simply requests a sunny spot and a cozy bed in her future home—one with no dogs or children— where she can lounge and stretch out to her heart's content. She does not like other kitties around her, so she would do best being your one and only pet.  If you're looking for a loving companion who appreciates the finer things in life and thrives in a peaceful atmosphere, Arielle could be your perfect match! Story
Squirt - Female DOB 7/18/2023 Domestic Medium Hair Black -  Another dynamic duo—house panthers Nemo and Tufti! Nemo has glossy black fur accented by a tiny white soul patch on his chest and another on his tummy. His whiskers are half white and half black, giving the illusion of short white whiskers... so unique! Nemo may not be a lap kitty, but he loves to hang out close by, often sleeping on the bed either behind your knees or against your back. Nemo has an insatiable appetite and a love for food that has been evident since he was a kitten. He must be watched to ensure he doesn't eat the other kitties' food, often darting into the pantry for goodies whenever the door opens (who could blame him?). At his southern foster home, Nemo went through a phase of running into the garage, so his adopter should be vigilant about doors. Nemo's favorite pastimes include curling up in the bathroom sink, swiping at running water, chasing springs, and playing with cat teasers—he can jump three feet in the air to catch his prize! His sister, Tufti, earned her name from her tufted owl-like appearance with large gray ear tufts and intense amber eyes. Over time, her ear tufts have turned black, and her chest, belly, and fluffy butt have taken on a dark silvery gray hue. She has a soft, silky, medium-long fur coat and a bottlebrush tail. Tufti's precious little meow sounds like she's asking, "Well?" when she wants food or affection. She loves to lie on your chest or sit in your lap, enjoying gentle strokes along her head, back, and tail. When she first came to the rescue, she was skittish around new people but was loving and friendly with her foster mom, often seeking contact and sometimes crawling under the covers to snuggle up at night. She has been coming out of her shell more and loves attention and a lap to curl up on receiving plenty of pets... Tufti likes to spend her time lounging under a blanket that keeps her nice and safe and warm.  She prefers a calm environment and would do best with Nemo as her only kitty companion. Tufti needs to have a quiet home, so older children only, and is not fond of dogs, so a dog-free home is ideal. Nemo and Tufti are a bonded pair who share a deep connection. They enjoy playing together, often putting toys in the bathtub and chasing them around. Nemo is more active, while Tufti prefers a more calm setting. Both cats are ready to bring lots of love to their forever home. Whoever adopts this sweet, curious, and mischievous duo will be incredibly lucky. Story
I have never in my years of rescue witnessed a more grateful soul.We received a call about a locally injured at... A striking beautiful orange male cat with a horrific infection on this front limb that we feared would need amputation if we did not respond immediately. By 3:00 that day we had him at the emergency vet.The caller named him Tigger. Tigger had spent two years of New England winters in frigid temperatures …scavenging for survival and warding off potential predators. Tigger was truly a warrior. A survivor. Tigger's leg was treated for the past 6 weeks and it inow 100% healed and he is ready for a family. This boy’s heart is so big it was overflowing with gratitude…he is a total mush bucket. Tigger is welcoming to everyone with head butts, belly rolls and gentle nudges with chirps of thank you’s over and over again. Each and everyone of us felt his appreciation to the core of our being. Everyone at Pet Tails Rescue has fallen fdeeply in love with his gentle soul. Tigger has been sleeping the sleep of a thousand wonderful dreams that he hasn’t dreamt in years. He is happy and very content to be loved. He purrs in his sleep. And yes sometimes he will talk and carry on conversations. And loves to be loved and snuggled. He is simply amazing in every single aspect. Tigger is estimated to be about 2 1/2 to 3 years old. He has an entire lifetime to bless a very special family. All kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FELV tested negative, microchipped, dewormed and have received a health exam from our veterinarian and received a NH Health Certificate. Story
GRIFFIN is a total marshmallow that just melts in your hands! Just 14 weeks old this stunning orange boy with a beautiful medium length fur coat is outstanding and everything you would want in a kitty companion. Personality plus! Griffen loves everyone! He is very outgoing and social and will run to the door to greet you. He adores playing with his kitty friends and is quite the character with his antics. Quite athletic in his play....especially with the magic feather wand. And yet he is a gentle snugglebug that enjoys just sitting on your lap while he takes a little snooze. Very confident, curious and HAPPY boy. A total mush ball ❤️ it really doesn't get much better than this handsome boy. Adopter must already have kitty companionship for Griffin or consider adopting him with one of his friends. All kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FELV tested negative, microchipped, dewormed and have received a health exam from our veterinarian and received a NH Health Certificate. Story
Meet Karma, a sweet, loving and docile little girl. If you are looking for a kitten who wants to snuggle and simply hang out with you on the couch; this is your girl. Karma wants nothing more than to be close and feel safe and loved. She was born sometime in mid-late January. Karma is quite laid back (possibly an old soul) and is too refined for standard kitten antics; preferring instead to be adored for simply being cute, sweet, and quiet. She has a great little purr, very soft fur, and a tail like a squirrel - very cute! She will thrive in a quiet and extra-loving household. Could that be you? If you are interested in adopting her, please fill out an application at http://realcruzancats.org/#adopt
