Good with kids, Good with cats, House-trained,
Story
For the past few months, we've seen this kitten on the street, abandoned. I'm pretty sure he belonged to a home and was thrown out. Lately, he's been coming to my house more often. We have two cats, so it was difficult for me to give him the welcome he deserved. But the cold and rainy season has begun, and our hearts simply wouldn't allow us (my family and I) to keep him on the street in this terrible weather. We made the decision and adapted an ideal space for Phillip. He's a loving, peaceful, clean, kind, calm, extremely affectionate, and very docile cat (we assume he's a male). We sincerely hope he finds the home he deserves. He'll be the perfect companion for whoever has love reserved for this beautiful kitten. I hope he finds the perfect home for him; he deserves it. He should have a new chance. I hope he finds the perfect home for him; he deserves it. He should have a new chance.

Story
LOUIS is the sweetest, snuggliest boy with a gentle, laid back personality. He loves being held, brushed, and gets along with every cat he meets. He seeks out human affection and will melt into your arms for love and attention. LOUIS is UTD on vaccines, already neutered, microchipped and litter box trained. He has tested positive for FIV & negative for FelV. Cats with FIV can live long and happy lives. FIV cannot be passed to humans or other animals, and can only be transmitted to other cats through a deep bite, so please don't let that deter you from adopting this sweet boy. eDOB 5/21/2025 Please visit our instagram link below for a video of LOUIS and give us a follow! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DT_e0HjgA9m/?igsh=bTV5dGRldDlzNDY4 Please visit this Instagram link for more information on FIV: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DTiXg1YgDtK/?igsh=MW5xNGl1eGYwcTNxNg== SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR A MEET AND GREET: - To submit an application directly, go to: animals-in-distress.org/adoptions - As part of our adoption process, we ask all potential adopters to complete an application before scheduling any meet and greets. Story
Esperanza is a gentle, sensitive soul who has come such a long way. Rescued from a hoarding situation, she arrived frightened, fragile, and even half bald from a severe flea allergy. With time, patience, and lots of care, she’s been nursed back to health — and now she’s ready to find someone special to call her own. Esperanza loves attention and pets once she feels safe — but earning her trust takes time. Months, not days. She is very shy at first and afraid of just about everything new. New people are especially scary, and she’ll need a calm, patient home that understands she’ll adjust at her own pace. She’s also intimidated by other cats (yes, even tiny kittens!) and would likely do best as the only pet in a quiet household. She does fine with other kitties, she's just super submissive so more dominant cats tend to intimidate her.   But once you’re in her circle? She absolutely blossoms. She adores being doted on and will happily soak up gentle affection from her trusted person. And if you want to win her heart, bring rotisserie chicken — it’s her all-time favorite treat! She’ll even chirp sweetly when she’s hungry or looking for attention, a soft little reminder that she’s there and learning to connect. She recently starting begging for attention from her foster parents and hoping into laps every night.  Esperanza doesn’t need a busy home or lots of excitement. She needs someone patient, kind, and consistent — someone who understands that the most beautiful bonds are sometimes the ones that take the longest to grow. If you have a quiet home and a big heart, Esperanza just might be waiting for you.April 13, 2026, 6:41 am

Story
Introducing Nina! Nina is a 5 year old sweet medium haired calico lady. She had a rough start in life. She was found as a stray near Temple University when she was about a year old. She was taken in by our former rescue and eventually adopted. Three years later she was returned to us by no fault of her own. The family had taken too many cats and could no longer care for all the animals in their home. So when they reached out to us we took her back and got her out of an unhealthy environment! Nina has been in foster care since June in Quakertown and is ready to be adopted again. She is doing great but wants a real forever home! She lives with other cats in foster care though she prefers to be the top cat! She has lived with dogs in her former home. She is super sweet and loves pets. She sleeps with her foster at night and loves attention. She also loves the laser light toy! She loves sleeping, cuddling, and just being on your lap! Nina is up to date on vaccines, spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, dewormed, microchipped and has had preventative flea and tick control! You can apply for Nina using the link below! https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HOTC/Cat
