Story
Presenting Amy and Feathers! Amy is a small, people-loving, playful kitty. She is black with white patches on her throat and tummy. She loves to be held, played with, petted and brushed. She was rescued during a huge snowstorm with her best friend and possibly sister Feathers, who seems to either have to adopted Amy or been her sister. Feathers is a sweet, gentle, motherly, shy, medium-length haired tortoiseshell kitty who is loved by, and clearly loves people and the kitties around her. She takes gentle care of whomever is near her or seeks her out, especially, but not only, Amy, She loves to be brushed with a soft brush and petted, and she loves to either play or watch others play, deferring to them. Both were found outdoors trying at 15 weeks young to walk.through snow 3 feet deep against a bitter wind. Both kitties are now a young and healthy 7 years old and they love to watch the outside from the safety of their cat tree bed, and lie in the sun. Amy loves to play with balls and string toys, and she happily plays tag with Feathers. Kind and gently affectionate, this beautiful pair would bring special joy to a calm household. apply online at compassionforpaws.ca

Story
DOB: March 2021Meet Major Tom:  Timid Major Tom, rescued with his sister Zipetty and their mom Truffles, is gradually learning to trust. If approached slowly, he’ll permit you to pet him, particularly when catnip toys and food are involved. What he loves though is chasing springs, laser dots and his fellow felines, then gazing out the window at the birds. Now, for him to thrive, he needs a tranquil and patient home, with a friend or with a confident kitty already there. If this is your home, click on Adopt. If you would like to sponsor and support Major Tom while safe in the shelter, click Sponsor!              &#226&#128&#139June 4, 2023, 9:25 pm

Story
Brief description: Sweet lap cat seeking cozy lap to warm.Meet Morocco! This beautiful tortoise shell mix is almost 6 years young and is seeking her furrever home. Despite her name, we believe she was actually born and raised in good old Canada. But she is a world traveler at heart who loves to follow her foster parent from room to room. Morocco is a large, medium-haired girl who is affectionate but can be a bit anxious and fairly selective about how she is physically handled. Morocco doesn't mind being pet as long as you keep away from her lower back and tail. She appreciates a good chin scratch and some gentle forehead pets - and when she is excited, she will let you know by vibrating that fluffy tail! She will likely tolerate more handling as she learns to trust her new owners. Morocco prefers a home with no other pets and no young children as she can use her teeth when frightened. Morocco's front paws are declawed so her teeth are her only means of defence. Torties are known to be fiercely loyal to their owners so once you bond she will likely be your bestest bud, just give her time. This sweet girl requires urinary care food to maintain her good health. If Morocco sounds like she would be a good fit for you please reach out to Team Cat Rescue.

Story
Meet Ophelia! And who better to describe her than the bard himself - that's right, Shakespeare wrote that Ophelia is soft and fair. Now, he may have been describing the character Ophelia in his play, Hamlet, but who is to say that he didn't write it about this lovely, furry lady at Team Cat Rescue? We leave it up to you to decide! Because our Ophelia is as soft and as fair as they come. Seriously, with her fluffy fur, she is like a little cloud floating and gliding around. And she is just absolutely precious - she's a teeny-tiny, pint-sized sweetheart with enchanting eyes and a lot to say. Yes, this dainty girl is quite talkative. Ophelia will greet you in the morning, tell you all about her day, and then once she's had enough chatting, she loves nothing more than to take an afternoon snooze in a closet (hey, don't knock it till you've tried it). Ophelia hit double digits this year, celebrating ten turns around the sun, and shows no signs of slowing down. And we would love nothing more than to see this darling girl find a permanent home that will spoil her with love, affection, and some nice napping spots for the rest of her years to come. Ophelia previously lived with two dogs that stressed her out so she would prefer a home without dogs or a home with dogs who have a docile and quiet temperament. If Ophelia sounds like the right fit for you and your home, please reach out to Team Cat Rescue today!
