Story
DOB: 2014 Meet Elsa – a little lovebug extraordinaire! Elsa came into our care when her owners could no longer care for her, and she is now looking for another family to love. She has a gorgeous coat of white fur and beautiful light-green eyes.   Her foster mother describes her affectionate personality: “Elsa wants to be on top of you all the time! She will beg for you to let her into your lap by tapping your lap a few times with her paw. Elsa loves getting your 100% attention and delights in snuggles. If you're not petting her, she will wrap herself around your legs until you do.” Elsa is a youthful 10-year-old and will leap after toys with the enthusiasm and agility of a kitten. She is definitely a foodie and is always uber enthusiastic about mealtime and treats.  Elsa also has excellent manners and  will politely headbutt your hand as thanks before eating the treat from your hand. Elsa is in good health other than she will require daily medication for hyperthyroidism. The prognosis for cats with hyperthyroidism is good as most cats respond well to medication. She likes to do stretch-and-scratch exercises, so she will need to have a good scratching post. She does startle easily, so she'd probably be best in a quiet household. If you are looking for an affectionate cat companion, Elsa is the ideal cat for you. She is in a home with another cat but has not been exposed to dogs.   Adoption applications are available at http://www.forgottenones.ca/adoptions/. Please email the completed form to contact@forgottenones.ca. Adoption fees are $175.00 for adult cats (one year and older), $225.00 for kittens, and $125.00 for senior cats (10+ years old). The fee includes: veterinary health check, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, testing for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinations, flea and ear mite treatments NOTE: Young kittens may not have had their spay/neuter surgery and final vaccinations at the time of their bio posting, but they are included in the adoption fee.  April 23, 2024, 10:05 pm

Story
Meet Betty Boop, this social butterfly will greet you at the door. She’s very curious and can adapt to any new environment quickly. She doesn’t like to be over stimulated and this can cause her to nip alittle bit. Small children is not ideal and she doesn’t mind being around small and calm dogs. Besides this, Betty Boop is very sweet and will demand pets on her own terms.

Story
DOB: March 2021Meet Major Tom:  Timid Major Tom, rescued with his sister Zipetty and their mom Truffles, is gradually learning to trust. If approached slowly, he’ll permit you to pet him, particularly when catnip toys and food are involved. What he loves though is chasing springs, laser dots and his fellow felines, then gazing out the window at the birds. Now, for him to thrive, he needs a tranquil and patient home, with a friend or with a confident kitty already there. If this is your home, click on Adopt. If you would like to sponsor and support Major Tom while safe in the shelter, click Sponsor!              &#226&#128&#139April 23, 2024, 1:11 pm

Story
My mom and 5 of my siblings were found roaming the streets of Toronto back in 2018. I was adopted back in February 2019 but was returned as my family was moving out of the country. I was adopted again back in 2021 and recently returned again as I was no longer compatible with my human. I can be a bit nervous in new situations, and I may hiss at you for a couple of days but I acclimate quickly! I’m an extremely sweet and affectionate girl, I love to wind and rub between your legs. I can be picked up and cuddled and I looooove head rubs! I love to play with toys, especially the wand toys! I’ve quickly decided that I do not like sharing my attention with any other cats and would very much like to be your one and only.Applications are reviewed in order received until an appropriate match is made. Hello, I'm Pumpkin Seed. I'm a senior with a zest for life. My days are filled with curiosity and energy, exploring every corner of my surroundings. I'm fiercely independent, but I also love a good cuddle. I'm the sweetest friend you'll ever have, loyal to a fault. However, I'm a bit of a diva - I can get easily stressed and I'm very picky. I need a patient, loving human who understands my quirks. I promise, the love I give in return will be worth it. Adopt me and let's start our forever friendship. If you're looking for a sweet, cuddly, and independent friend, I might just be your perfect match. Primary Color: Tabby Secondary Color: Black Brindle Weight: 3.76 Age: 3yrs 2mths 0wks
