Story
Meet Thor, God of Thunder, Champion of Cuddles, and all-around mighty floof! This young, fluffy heartthrob may share a name with the Marvel legend, but his true superpower is friendliness. Thor loves people, greets you like a hero returning from battle, and is always ready to accept pets, praise, and admiration (which he feels is well-deserved). With his plush coat and confident charm, Thor brings big Asgard energy to any room, minus the lightning, plus extra purrs. He’s playful, affectionate, and would be thrilled to rule your home with kindness, whiskers, and the occasional zoomie. If you’re ready to welcome a friendly cat, who’s more cuddles than chaos, Thor is standing by. Adopt him and bring home your very own superhero, cape not included, floof guaranteed!***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.If you are viewing this animal through 24Petconnect by PetPlace or Adopt-a-pet, please visit our website https://kwsphumane.ca/adopt/process to submit an application. Any applications submitted outside of www.kwsphumane.ca may not be received.

Story
Wendyll and his brothers were found surviving outdoors. He was the first to start to trust humans, however cautiously. He prefers to sit and watch the wrestlng matches and games of chase, and meal times are a favorite! He enjoys being brushed and will need a forever home with time to brush to keep his fluffy coat looking sleek and healthy. He is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on his vaccines and will come with a voucher for his neuter at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet. To facilitate the neuter surgery, applications from locations within half an hour distance from Woodstock will be considered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes by respecting these guidelines!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Emerald is a domestic medium hair black female who is approximately 2 years old. Meet Emerald! Emerald is playful, curious, and affectionate on her own terms. She’s still settling in and getting used to being around her human friends, but she enjoys interactive play and attention once she feels comfortable. Her favorite toys are springs, but she also enjoys fuzzy balls, mice, wand toys, and is learning to chase the laser pointer. She loves watching cat TV and has started exploring the view from the window. She adores pets from head to tail, with her absolute favourite being a scritch on the side of her neck, she leans right into those! She’s fine with paw rubs but prefers to keep her tummy off-limits. Emerald also loves being brushed, showing off her shiny, soft fur. Treats are a highlight of her day, she enjoys temptations and tube treats (squished onto a plate is her preference). She doesn’t like being picked up or cuddled on laps, but her soft purr and gentle meow show her sweet, playful nature. Emerald would likely do well in a home with a cat or dog friend with a proper slow introduction. Emerald is spayed, microchipped, on parasite prevention, and vaccinated with RCCP and rabies. She is FIV and FeLV negative. Her adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application.
