Story
Macaroon, or as we call her Rooney, is an extremely sweet and loving cat. Her favorite thing to do is cuddle next to you or in your lap unfortunately we are no longer able to give her the attention she needs and deserves. Her polydactyl extra toes make her paws look like mittens and make her extra special and even cuter. We love her dearly and hope we can find her a home where she can get all the snuggles and love she needs.

Story
Hi, I'm the petite gentleman Skye! I have the cutest little ears. I'm a ball of fluffy love.I'm an especially sweet guy with some special needs. I have seizures sometimes which are quite scary for me and anyone watching. When I have a seizure I might fall off my cat tree and rarely I lose control of my bladder when I have a seizure. I'm on medication for the seizures which seems to be helping. My seizures are more under control that when I first came here and I have them about once a month now. The seizures last about 30 seconds to a minute and there isn't much to be done except make sure I don't fall off something. I also have a history of having urinary crystals so I need to stay on a prescription urinary food for life. That prevents the crystals from forming. I also have a sensitive stomach so there is one type of food that helps both the crystals and my tummy issues. I like to greet people and will give a little head boop to your leg when I am looking for attention. I'm quite mellow as my medication makes me a little sedate to prevent seizures.Likes: I love to be social with people. I also love to play! I'm a mellow boy who just loves love.Dislikes: I don't seem to really like other cats. I might be able to hang out with them but I have tried to bully one cat in the shelter before.Looking For: An adopter who is willing to work with my seizures and other special needs. My estimated birthdate is 4/21/2021.

Story
Hi I'm Bingley, or Mr Bingley. I'm a superstar and just a lovey cat. I need to go home with my brother, Darcy. We love each other and snuggle often. We lost our home due to some chaos in the home with a disabled child stressing us out. We are relaxed, playful, and gentle cats! I have a cloudy eye which is from corneal adema. It's not a problem for me but might mean I have poorer vision in that eye. The people here call it my 'witch eye' and I predict with my psychic powers that you will fall in love with us if you meet us!Both my brother and I love to snuggle up in and under blankets. We are pretty quiet and we are very well-mannered.My birthdate is 5/27/2021.

Story
I got Starlord from Sherwood Cat Rescue in 2018. He is a very sweet cat that is really good with other animals. He knows how to use a litter box but I have a pet door and he actually goes outside now. I am in the process of moving up to Washington and I am unable to bring him with me. I really just want to find him a good, loving home.

Story
Lyra (Lie-Ruh) was born December 9, 2022. We got her when she was 5 months old from a farm where she was indoor-outdoor. She's only indoor now, and we'd prefer she stay that way. She's fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She's the softest cat I've ever had, with short, fluffy fur (We feed her tiki cat indoor formula, probably partly why!).   She's rather shy of strangers, and hides whenever new people come in, but is fully attached to her people. She loves afternoon naps, laying on our chest. She loves to play, especially wrestle with stuffed animals, chew on cardboard (she needs things available to chew) or chase strings. She does play bite a bit when she plays, and can get over stimulated with too much petting - but her bites never draw blood. She loves scratches on her head and neck. We've gotten to know her body language when enough is enough.   She weaves in and out of our legs. She's unable to jump on counters for some reason - she can't jump high - so that could be a big bonus for you! We had a cat when we brought her in, and unfortunately our current cat never accepted her. Lyra would love to have a friend I believe, she did have friends on her farm when she was a kitten as well as a dog - but I don't know how well she'd adapt to another cat being a little over a year old now but with proper introduction this should work.   She was recently diagnosed with asthma, and we've been giving her oral steroids every 24-28 hours for the last couple months. We've been using wood pellet litter as clay is bad for kitty lungs. Ideally she'd get on an inhaler 2x a day as that has fewer long term side effects for kitties versus the oral steroids. With the proper care she can live a long, healthy and happy life!   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under 'ADOPT' on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. Story
Meet Stanley T. Manley, affectionately known as Stan, a remarkably gentle and sensitive cat of 2 years, who doubles as my emotional support animal. Adopted at seven months old, Stanley initially harbored a preference for women, but over time, he's grown closer to me, albeit with a skittish demeanor and reluctance to be handled. Despite his initial reservations, he thrives on lap time and belly rubs when he feels at ease.   While he enjoys playful pursuits like chasing treats, he's not one for aggressive play with toys. Indoors since adoption, Stanley's sociable nature extends to dogs and cats after an initial adjustment period. Remarkably, he's never displayed aggression toward humans, even during his previous tenure with young children. My partner and I ended up separating, and reluctantly, she had to leave Stanley with me.   Though I've cherished Stanley's companionship, recent strains in our relationship have prompted me to acknowledge that he requires more attention and care than I can currently provide, particularly given my nocturnal work schedule. Regrettably, lapses in maintaining his litter box have led to instances of urinating on my clothes, indicative of his distress. Recognizing his need for a stable and nurturing environment, I'm earnestly seeking a new home for Stanley, one where he'll find the companionship and care he deserves.   Stanley's health is diligently maintained, with recent veterinary confirmation of his well-being and up-to-date vaccinations. However, he'll require dental care in the coming months and would benefit from a weight management plan. I possess comprehensive records of his medical history, ensuring a seamless transition for his future caretaker. If you're seeking a devoted feline companion, Stanley eagerly awaits the opportunity to bring joy and comfort to your home.  Indoor only, $50 rehoming fee.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
