Meet Charger and Challenger: Your Gentle Giants in Need of Tender Love and Care! Are you ready to welcome a pair of adorable feline companions into your life? Look no further than Charger and Challenger, , two brothers with hearts as big as their purrs! Charger (White), is a social butterfly, always ready for a cuddle session on his terms. He loves to belly flop and get chin scratches, especially when treats are involved! Meanwhile, Challenger, has a newfound love for hopping up on the couch for some quality 'nearness' time.  These boys may get a bit nervous when approached quickly, but once they warm up to you, they'll steal your heart in no time. Picture this: a cozy evening, Charger by your side, happily accepting belly rubs as you unwind with your favorite TV show or book. And while Challenger may be a bit more reserved, he's recently discovered the joys of spending more time in proximity to his people. When it's mealtime, these boys are all in for some affectionate touches and pats – they truly appreciate the love while they eat. Despite their initial shyness, neither have shown any signs of aggression towards people or other animals. However, catching and crating them can be a bit of a challenge, so they'll need a patient and understanding owner who can help them build trust and confidence over time. Both boys have been fully vetted and microchipped and are ready to find their permanent home. Their favorite toys are laser pointers, catnip mice (especially the ones that move), and cat trees where they can be high or hide. These sweet boys thrive in a calm, stable home without the hustle and bustle of young children or excessive noise. While they're not quite lap cats yet, in the right environment, they could blossom into outgoing kitties, eager for affection and playtime. Both boys are food and resource driven, but they've shown no interest in causing mischief on countertops or with plants. Imagine the joy of watching them grow more comfortable and confident in their new home, knowing that your love and care have made all the difference in their lives.  If you're ready to open your heart and home to Charger and Challenger, please don't hesitate to reach out. Your kindness and compassion could make all the difference in their lives. Let's give them the loving forever home they deserve – they're waiting for you with open paws!    If you are interested please email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue :   ccrnewengland@gmail.com Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Hi my name is Summer.  I am 9 months old.  I was rescued along with my brothers and sisters from a restaurnat parking lot where we spent our entire young lives.  It was a sad situation and we were so scared that we had to be trapped.  I am now in a foster home where I am taken very good care of and am thriving.  I came to Miss Vivienne as a sweet and scared little kitty.  I am now a sweet, confident and beautiful 9 month old who is getting used to life as an only cat.  i love getting all the attention.  I love to be petted and still love to play.  My little stuffed mice are my favorite.  I love to paw at them and throw them around the room.  If you would like to throw them for me, I will race across the room to get them.  I also love the cat tree.  The top perch is where I like to hang out.  There is plenty to see out the window.  I love to watch the birds and the squirrels.  Miss Vivienne thinks that I am beautiful and I agree.  Not to brag but I have these unique markings of orange on my ears, on the top of my head and a bit on my body--my organe highlights.    If you are looking for a sweet kitty who is loving, gentle and will make you smile, then you have have found her.  I am spayed, current on my shots, FIV negative and microchipped.  Hopefully the Luck of the Irish will help me find my forever home by St. Patrick's Day. To be considered for my forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Summer is actually in Tennesse and can be transported north upon adoption.)February 27, 2025, 6:55 pm

Story
Mama Della is a very lucky female orange tabby cat, who was picked up by a Critter Cavalry Rescue cat Foster mom and brought home with her litter of six beautiful babies. Kind of a one in a million situation for this girl to be able to raise her babies in the safety and nurturing care of a seasoned foster home. Her babies are healthy, she is spayed and ready to find her own loving family or person to adopt her. She is friendly and playful and snugly. No shyness about her at all. If you know anything about orange tabby cats, you will know that it is rare to have a female orange tabby cat. Again she's kind of one of those rare and special girls that got a life break when she was brought out of harm's way with her whole litter and nurtured during her time of nursing and raising her babies. If you would love to have this very young adult female orange tabby girl called Mama Della, Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. Story
Sufferin Succatash!  No, he does not resemble that rascally black and white tuxedo cat, but he does have an adorable dark patch on his head, which trails off slightly onto his back.  Sly predominately has beautiful soft white fur from his shoulders down to his long slender tail.  He was born around mid-January, the runt of 5 almost-identical kittens.  And his siblings love him!  Sly can be found snuggled up with one, if not two of his siblings.  But typically, Sly prefers my lap.  And my shoulders.  And my chest.  And my neck.  What a sweet little boy!  I can quite honestly say that this young man ranks up in the top five of my sweetest foster kittens.  He will live on you lap, if you let him.  He will attempt to nurse on your neck, if you let him.  Such a gentle, sensitive nature.  And he has the sweetest light green eyes, that watch your every move.  Sly knows he is adorable.  He will roll over on you lap and curl up his paws and “talk” with his little eyes.  He will nuzzle your cell phone, asking you to “pet me please”.  He can be an affection hog, but I love it.  Purr fest, indeed.  His motor is on idle at all tomes, it seems.  If he is not getting AND giving kisses, Sly can be found chasing his brother or sisters around the room.  Crinkle balls are a favorite, as well as that ribbon on the end of the wand.  If he could, Sly would be trying to get a yellow canary, but he settles for the toy mouse instead.  He is just a joy, and the highlight of my day.  When I need some unconditional love, I go grab Sly!  You should grab him up quickly!  He will not be here long….  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  June 2, 2025, 11:27 am

Story
Meet Charlie Boy – The Tuxedo Gentleman with a Heart of Gold Hi there, I’m Charlie Boy, and I’m all dressed up in my black-and-white tuxedo, ready to steal the show—and maybe your heart, too! I’m a sweet, gentle guy with a classy look and a whole lot of love to give. I’m not just handsome—I’m affectionate, laid-back, and always happy to curl up with a good nap or some head scratches. Whether you’re reading a book, watching a movie, or just enjoying some quiet time, I’ll be right by your side looking fabulous. Now, I want to be honest with you—I’m FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive). But here’s the truth: it doesn’t slow me down one bit. I feel great, and with a little routine vet care and a loving home, I can live a long, healthy, and happy life. FIV is often misunderstood, but it’s only passed through deep bite wounds, which means I can safely live with other friendly cats, too. FIV+ kitties like me are often overlooked, and that’s the saddest part—we have so much love to give, if someone would just give us a chance. So if you’re looking for a dashing, kind-hearted companion who will always be dressed to impress, I’m your guy. Let’s make this a forever kind of thing. Contact ccrnewengland@gmail.com to learn more about adopting me—Charlie Boy—and see just how special a tuxedo cat can be. Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped.
