Story
Meet Zola, a beautiful young kitty with a stunning gray coat and a fluffy tail! She is shy at first and will need a family to give her time and patience to adjust to a new home. Once Zola feels comfortable though, she loves to be petted and enjoys being held for short periods of time. Her foster mom believes Zola's personality will really shine in a home with fewer cats. Zola gets along wonderfully with other kitties and would be happiest being adopted with a feline friend or joining a household with a friendly resident cat she can cuddle and play with. Like most kittens, Zola has a playful side and some of her favorite toys include wand toys, catnip toys, and crinkle balls. Zola is approximately 8 months old (as of May 30, 2025), spayed, up-to-date on yearly vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Interested in adopting Zola? Please email Dana at dlw0311@hotmail.com

Story
Introducing Mistletoe, a medium hair tuxedo beauty. Mistletoe found herself in foster care over a year ago when she was picked up from a well-cared for colony. Mom was fixed and returned to the colony and all babies have grown and found homes—except Mistletoe. We are looking for a home or permanent foster home for Mistletoe that will allow her to be less stressed. Unfortunately, Mistletoe was found to have a congenital heart defect. She has had two cardiology consults and our cardiologist confirmed that she can still live a decent life without any medication. She needs a calm home without much commotion or any animals to keep her stress levels minimal. Timid Mistletoe is easily overlooked because you will never see her when you visit. People scare her. If you have ever wanted a cat without knowing that you own one, Mistletoe would be the perfect fit. Although she is shy, Mistletoe loves treats like a Churu and meal times! She even enjoys being groomed with a slicker comb if you are lucky to be graced with her presence. She is cat selective and does not do well with felines that are in her bubble. Mistletoe prefers to be left alone and will only interact with a cat when she is comfortable. She is currently in a foster home with other cats that come and go. This can be very taxing on her mentally. Sometimes she even needs to be put in a pen to help her decompress. For this reason, we hope to find her a forever home that is understanding of her timid nature or a permanent foster home that fits the bill. Mistletoe will be a challenge, but we have hope that with a patient person who understands shy, withdrawn cats, this beauty will blossom. Mistletoe is about 10 months old, spayed, up to date with vaccinations and tested negative for Feline Leukemia & FIV. For more information, please contact Lori at apcatrescue@gmail.com

Story
Pookie is courtesy post as a private adoption. For more information about Pookie, email apcatrescue@gmail.com. From Pookie's family: This gorgeous tabby girl is Pookie. Pookie is a friendly girl who enjoys being petted but will let you know when she has had enough. She is currently living with other cats and a dog but would be happier to be an only pet. Pookie is a princess at heart with her beautiful fluffy tail and wants to be the ruler of her kingdom. She tends to bully the other pets in the house. Her owners love her very much but realize their household is too much for Pookie. The ideal home for Pookie is more on the quiet side without any other pets in the household. We also recommend no small children. Pookie will be a great cat for a different household as an only pet . Pookie is 2.5 years old ( DOB is 8/9/22), spayed, up to date on vaccinations and negative for FIV and FeLV.

Story
THIS IS A COURTESY POST. THIS CAT IS NOT WITH OUR RESCUE. PLEASE EMAIL PA4GBODINE60RACE@AOL.COM WITH INTEREST.   Kesha is a sweet and very playful girl born 10/01/2020. She was rescued along with her siblings (already adopted) from a local colony in Pottstown.  Kesha has come a long way from the time she was rescued.  She was VERY shy and timid and now her foster mommy can go and pet her and pick her up.  She will be shy to new people, and she will need a patient adopter but once she feels comfortable, she will become a very affectionate girl.  She loves chasing the laser light and string toys and will lay in the bed with her foster mommy and doesn't mind sharing the bed with some of the more quieter foster kitties.  So she does get along with other kitties and  dogs we are unsure of but since she is young with patience  she could adjust but she would do best in a home without any very young children. She is already spayed, current on vaccines, neg. for FeLV/FIV and ready for adoption.  Her adoption fee is $125~~Please email Karin at pa4gbodine60race@aol.com for an application. APPLICANTS MUST BE WITHIN 1/2 HR. OF POTTSTOWN, PA IN ORDER TO ADOPT. February 2, 2025, 5:54 pm
