Story
Our handsome boy has many names because he has many wonderful and fun personalities to get to know.  His official birth name is Tobias but lovingly called Toe-Beans or Toby, is what he is most often called.  This handsome grey tabby boy that is 5 years old and weighs 10 pounds is as sweet and cuddly as he is handsome.  The reason this wonderful cat needs a new home is that he is living in a house with busy children and other cats that just stress him out.  Because of this he suffers from anxiety that regularly causes him to have crystals in his urine. But once he relaxes, he wants to be at your feet, in your lap, and getting his belly rubbed. He has never lashed out and is very gentle with children but children are busy and activity in a home with young children is probably a stimulant for the urine crystals.  Toby has all of his vaccinations and aside from urinary issues, is very healthy. He loves belly rubs, snacks, and being in the bathroom while you shower.  He is a true companion cat that just needs the focus and solitude of being someone’s ONE AND ONLY CAT. He does not like dogs, people knocking at the front door, or strangers in the house. This boy is just a bit of a loving recluse and loner from too many activities and people moving through his home.  He is totally healthy except for occasional crystals which we know come from the stress of too much coming into his environment.  We know there are many people that can relate to this need in their life. Just some solitude and some peace.  Toby is a wonderful boy that will be your soul mate in love and life.   Please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.  He is ready for a new life.  Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 30, 2023, 4:11 pm

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This is Darling Della and her story of losing her owner to death and the family left behind just put her outside and left her. A neighbor realized what had been going on and contacted Critter Cavalry Rescue to help take her in.  This beautiful 3 year old was rescued and taken to the vet and was determined to be FIV+.  But these days we know it is not a terminal condition at all.   FIV+ cats live long lives if you are aware of any respiratory downturns.  This girl is totally healthy and we promise that this loving girl will make you so happy to invite her to come home with you. Darling Della is not afraid of invading your personal space with rubs and purrs.  She gets along with other cats too.  She has had all her shots and is ready to go to a more youthful and loving home.   Contact us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.!September 30, 2023, 4:11 pm

Story
Rose Torti is a gorgeous tortoise colored adult gal with a sweet, sassy spirit just like her breed.   Tortis are just confident and sassy and that’s what you expect. They would run the “cat” world if they could.  She has been a dedicated mama to her babies that she birthed before the shelter could euthanize her pregnant.  Our rescue lady scrambled and took her home just a day before birthing so many beauties.  Now she is ready to give away her maternity clothes and party hardy! She is a very expressive cat girl who talks a lot, so be ready for a Q & A session about your day. Now that her babies are older, she is finally feeling free enough to play with toys and run around like a spring chicken kicking up her single heels. She is looking for a family to lavish attention on her—she really loves to be petted and talked to (and yes, she does answer!). Rose Torti  gets very frisky with little crinkly toys and will chase them across the room with great enthusiasm and entertainment for her observers.  Believe it or not, sometimes she even brings them back to you! :D    Rose’s feisty tortitude can occasionally mean she gets too frisky and will playfully bite. Somewhere along the way, she decided that a surprise chomp was the best way to signal that she wants more attention---it is not an aggressive move at all. Luckily, she is easily redirected with fun toys or Temptation treats; her foster family also thinks that when she is adopted in a home with fewer kitties, this will be less of an issue. Rose has a deep purr and a very sweet spirit. She is a plucky girl who deserves a devoted family to play with and cuddle her. Is your home the place for Rose to bloom?   Contact us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   September 30, 2023, 4:11 pm

Story
Never ever ever have we seen cats who snuggle and love on each other as much as these three!!!  Will you help us keep them together? If you are ready to adopt or foster this family of 3, read on. Their foster mom is moving but will NOT abandon them like everyone has in the past.    BOOTS (Socks): handsome brown with auburn and white tuxedo tabby, striped, ticked and spotted! He is catnip to his 2 wives!! They CRAVE being near him!! Boots loves to be petted, but NOT on the neck or chin. They were saved from the scary outdoors, and this is a remnant of his protective behavior. Cover up with a blanket, and Boots will come to your lap and knead his paws like he is marching! You'll need a thick blanket!! He likes to snuggle at your feet and in your lap. If he is at your feet on a bed or recliner, then the wives will lay there too. While cats aren't usually allowed on the kitchen table or counter, Boots insists on jumping up to rub all over human heads, faces, shoulders, elbows, give headbutts and generally just take in all the affection. When he is in charge, you can touch his face and hear his gentle purr in your ear.    SASHA (Minxie): beautiful long-fur marble/swirl tabby with short legs, a short tail and a cute turned-up nose! Her side profile is definitely different from any cat we have seen. She is Boots' little shorty girl, for sure! Even if he is lounging on a small cat tree or shelf, she wriggles her way next to or even on top of him!! She rolls around and rubs her face all over him, so lovingly. Then they proceed to kiss and groom each other.  She walks next to him in sync, sometimes even touching shoulders. They look like show horses in a parade!! Sasha is very food motivated. She will eat canned food and treats from your hand, even climbing on top of you or in your lap to get the food!! While it's clear she craves affection, she doesn't yet allow humans to rub her. We know she will love it. She is starting to greet her foster mom's hand with a nose touch.    HOLLYWOOD: shiny, sleek, slinky black mini-panther. She is a stunning site when she saunters through the house, deserving of a Hollywood catwalk!! She is also very in love with Boots and will snuggle in with him almost anywhere. Then the kissing and grooming begins.  She comes romping out to play with Boots and Sasha. All 3 love to play! Boots and Sasha play with many toys and sometimes romp with other cats in the home. Hollywood reserves her snuggles and play time for Boots and Sasha. They all love each other -- there is no jealousy between the 2 wives!! Hollywood is finally becoming food-motivated, meaning you can now use special food and treats to lure and socialize her. But she prefers to play cat games on the phone or computer! If you open CatAlone2 or other cat apps and lay your phone or tablet on the bed next to you, Hollywood can't resist. :)   These fur-babies were feral/abandoned and being fed by a nice lady. Then she sold her house and left them behind. The new owner threatened to poison them. A new CC foster mom rescued them with no idea what to do next. They absolutely adore the relaxed indoor life and are very happy. Boots has been tame and adoptable for many, many months. He has responded well to human love and affection. What a privilege to see him transform! We didn't adopt him out yet because his 2 wives are so attached to him. The females are spending more and more time near their humans, including sitting in the windowsill right next to the couch, gazing at birds and squirrels at the feeders just on the other side of the glass. The girls are pack animals, wanting to be in the vicinity of Boots and the humans. They now come closer and closer, but have to compete with many other cats for attention and tend to take a back seat. They would progress quickly in a home with fewer other cats.  Are you the amazing cat lover who will adopt or foster all 3?  Fully vetted. Indoors only.   To be considered as a foster or forever home for this little family please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.    September 30, 2023, 4:11 pm
