Story
Birthday: November 25, 2024 Beckham is one orange cat who loves to be with his people.  He was found on a farm with his sister when they were rescued.  His back legs were noticeably not working properly, and he was taken into a vet for x-rays. Upon further observation, the vet had deduced that the young kitten had sustained some sort of trauma when he was around 4-weeks old. They are a permanent deformation, but this smart kitty has learned how to pivot around with one back leg to move! He's not in any pain, and he's one of the happiest critters you'd ever meet! His only special needs requirement is a low-sided litter box as it is difficult to get himself in and out with his legs as they are. When we say that Beckham is a people's cat, we aren't joking! This boy loves to be held ALL THE TIME.  The second you cradle him in your arms, he's like melted butter! As you carry him around, he'll serenade to you with a constant purr! He's also quite a little die-hard player! It's so adorable to watch him lay down to play with his toys while looking up at you with those big gorgeous eyes.  He also gets along really well with other kitties too!  Beckham's adoption donation is $150  and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter . Story
Latte is a stunning long-haired tortoiseshell with a soul just as beautiful as her luxurious fur. This sweet girl came to her foster home as a shy mama of four.  She was stressed with thinning fur and and an untrusting heart. But with patience, love, and gentle care, she's truly blossomed into a confident, affectionate companion.  Not only has her personality blossomed but her fur keeps growing longer and more beautiful by the day. Latte adores people — once she knows you're safe, she will want to be your best friend. She’s also got an adorable playful side and turns into a graceful acrobat when the wand toy comes out! Treats? Yes, please. Latte will never says no to a tasty snack. Latte shares a special bond with her daughter, Mocha. Whether they're cuddling, grooming each other, or playing side by side, their love is heart-meltingly sweet. They bring out the best in each other and would love nothing more than to find a forever home together. Latte and Mocha are spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and have testesd negative for FIV/FELV.  She is living in a foster home in Mechanicsburg, PA. If you're looking for a perfect blend of beauty, affection, and playfulness — times two — Latte and Mocha are the cats for you!  If you have questions about Latte and/or Mocha please contact Lindsey at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com.  To apply: https://lovingcarecatrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/  If you are interested in adopting this kitty, please fill out the online application at https://alovingcarecatrescue.org/adoptionapplication.html July 17, 2025, 1:20 am

Story
Shale is an adult male cat who is estimated to be 2-3 years old. He was caught as part of a TNR project but was in rough shape, so it was decided he would stay indoors long enough to heal before being put back. During his stay it become apparent that he is actually a friendly cat who is believed to have been raised by people and either lost or dumped. Over the months I have had Shale, I have seen him transform from a skeleton of a cat to a fluffy and playful boy. He likes to play with toys such as mouse toys, spring toys, and other individual toys that can be batted around, but he especially loves to play in the tunnel and to pounce on things. A wand toy that is pulled around a corner and/or object is his favorite to pounce on and he has one of the best butt wiggles. When he's not playing, Shale is a relaxed guy who likes to chill in a cat bed or on a chair nearby. A sunny spot is always a go to or my computer chair, which he steals from me every chance he gets. He likes to be pet, not near his butt or tail, but all around the head, his chin, and especially the bridge of his nose. He is not very vocal, but has meowed when locked into a room. His cuddliness is untested as he is currently limited to 2 rooms, neither of which has a bed or couch. Since Shale is of unknown origin we can only speculate on him, but it seems he may have been raised alone as he has trouble interacting with other cats. It appears that he wants to play and interact but doesn't understand that other cats might not immediately like him. He comes across as almost aggressive in his behavior due to his actions, such as staring at the other cat and walking right on over without caution. Due to this, it is not recommended that he be adopted into a home with another cat unless adopter is experienced enough to do a very slow introduction and aware that it might not work. Additionally, Shale needs an experienced cat owner as he has a few bad habits from being raised alone. He is very playful, but doesn't understand that his claws and teeth can hurt you. It is likely that he was played with as a kitten and learned that a person's hands are toys and doesn't know not to be rough. We have been working with him and he has reduced this behavior tremendously, but it does still happen, so he should not be adopted into a home with any young children for safety reasons. His nails can be cut, he is reasonable about it. Petting Shale is a game of chance sometimes, once again due to his playful nature he will try to wrestle your arm. He is not very used to being picked up but tolerates it for a minute before wiggling to be put down. He does not like being brushed but he does need it occasionally. Overall, Shale is a good cat, who with more training and proper correction can become a great cat. He needs someone patient who is willing to work with his flaws and love him for who he is becoming.

Story
Marilyn and Monroe are the sweetest kittens that were dumped on a farm close by. Marilyn is very reserved and laid back and Monroe is a ball of energy that loves to keep Marilyn on her toes. These two do everything together and must be adopted as sisters, from eating, to using the litter box, to playing, to snuggling up for nap time, they are always together. Monroe has this huge personality and is always in the go. She loves to be held and in your arms or lap at all times. She is extremely playful curious and very bold. They are both per machines and love attention. Both are fixed vaccinated and tested negative for FIV felv and heartworm.
