Story
Soap (Male, Tuxedo) and Ash (Female, Black) are nearly 2 year old kitties in need of a comforting home together as a bonded pair. They were adopted from my friend’s mama cat who had an unexpected litter. Both kitties are very friendly and love playing with each other. They are very, very well behaved and are fully litter trained. Soap is a bit more on the independent side, where as Ash will frequently want lap naps and ear scratches. Their favorite activity is staring out a the birds and other wildlife. If you are interested in being the loving owner of these two, please reach out. I am happy to provide any additional information as well as additional photos/videos!

Story
Birthday: May 2022 Have you ever witnessed a exhausted woman standing in the middle of her house in robes while a bunch of her children are running around like maniacs in the house?  Well, we have the cat version of that!  However, Lindsey was a helicopter parent by definition!  This gentle girl became a mother at a young age and raised two little ones by herself!  Her daughter was a rascal, but she couldn't have asked for anything less!  However, soon after they were put up for adoption, Lindsey's litter were taken to their new homes, leaving this little lady by herself.  Now, she wants to find a forever home for herself!  With a regal beauty like her, it's hard to take your eyes off of her!  She's a quiet, shy girl, but she seems to have a weak spot for other kitties!  Perhaps she longs for a family to care for since it gave her such pride when she was raising her own litter.  We know she is capable of affection after witnessing it firsthand with her kids.  She seems to want to try and be a lovebug with humans since they helped her and her family!  We think we know how you can do it too!  This girl cannot resist a good ear scratch or head rub, so they might be your ticket to winning this girl's heart! Lindsey's adoption donation is $175 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.  If you would like more information on Lindsey, please contact Lynn at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com. Story
Birthday: January 19, 2021 It is incredibly hard to believe that a handsome and striking boy, like Miles, was running around outside like he was some sort of feral kitty!  This boy is anything but!  Miles' temperament is so shy yet caring that he refused to eat with other stray kitties for fear he might be rejected or worse.  Thankfully, his future foster noticed him eating from her feeding station, and with time and effort, she managed to win over his trust, pick him up, and move him inside her home! Miles was grateful for the rescue, but he was stressed out.  It was a new environment, and he would try to make a dash for the backdoor whenever it opened.  But with time, he was able to slowly trust his foster family.  At one point, he was taken to one of LCCR's fundraisers to meet some potential humans.  To much of his foster's surprise, every person who wanted to give him pettings, he accepted with no fear!  He absolutely love it! Miles is still relatively shy, but he has come a long way.  He was let down before, and building trust has been a little difficult for him.  However, it is not a lost cause!  We think he would enjoy a home where there is a lot of room for him to run around and climb!  His foster believes that he would enjoy having friendly fur buddies for playtime!  Currently, his foster siblings aren't very nice to him, and he's very depressed that they don't like him.  It's a real shame because he absolutely ADORES other felines!  When he was living outside, he charmed so many cats with his personality that it's hard to believe that any would deny him their friendship! Nowadays, Miles is enjoying his new indoor lifestyle, but he's still hoping that there's a family out there for him!  Once he develops a bond with a human, he never strays too far from them!  He may not be a fan of being picked up, but that doesn't mean he isn't affectionate!  He'll lay next to you whenever you're chilling out and rub against your leg whenever he feels happy that you're here!  He doesn't mind relaxing, and you will often find this hunk sitting by windows watching the birds or napping on a nearby couch!  He has a silly side too!  Watching him play with humans or cats is always a treat to witness!  You can tell having another person in the home makes him brimming with joy!  If you want to really make him happy, give him some toys!  He absolutely loves laser pointers and cat wands!  Heck, give him a box!  He'll treat it like his mansion! Miles' adoption donation is $140 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter. Story
Marty's rescue story is quite the saga.  Marty was found outside by a neighbor to the person who used to own him.  The kitty was his wifes cat and when she passed away, he allowed Marty to become an outdoor kitty.  Being a medium hair adult, he deteriorated pretty quickly.  When he was found, he had to be taken to the Vet immediately in order to assess his health and to have him sedated to remove all his fur as it was so matted and dirty.  He was severely underweight, weak, and needed lots of TLC.  Despite being outside and in that condition, overall , his bloodwork and health is good!  Hes a survivor that is for sure.   Marty has been living in a foster home with other kitties and dogs.  With the amazing support of his foster, he has gained weight, gained confidence back and is now ready to become someones sweet boy so he can live out his life as the little prince that he is.   Marty has the best personality.  He walks around like he owns the place.  He tolerates other animals in his home and has no problem telling them that he prefers to be looked at then played with.  He has been affectionatly referred to as the grumpy old man.  He really is a character.    Marty's adoption donation is 75.00 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip If you would like more information on Marty, please contact Ginger at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com If you would like to fill out an online application, please visit https://lovingcarecatrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/ Please note:  LCCR does not allow our adopted cats and kittens to be declawed.  All adopted kitties are to be kept as indoor-only pets. .boom-extension-active{cursor: crosshair !important} .boom-extension-active *:hover{cursor: crosshair !important} .boom-extension-hovered-element{outline: 2px solid rgba(130, 170, 210, .6) !important} .boom-extension-expanded-element{background: transparent !important;border: 0 !important;float: none !important;margin-left: auto !important;margin-right: auto !important;padding-left: 0 !important;padding-right: 0 !important;position: relative !important;max-width: initial !important;min-width: initial !important;width: 100% !important;} If you are interested in adopting this kitty, please fill out the online application at https://alovingcarecatrescue.org/adoptionapplication.html June 18, 2024, 7:45 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.IMPORTANT NOTE:  This pet is NOT part of the Castaway Critters program but is listed as a courtesy to the owner.  Please do not complete an on-line application listing this pet as your selection. AJ AJ is around 5 years. He was found as a stray on a horse farm. He is FIV positive. Recently, due to some oral complications, he had to have a full mouth extraction so he does not have any teeth left, which will leave his oral cavity much healthier. He really is a special boy!He loves to be held, and he loves belly rubs. He would do well with other cats, a female would be best. He’s a little leery of men, so I think he would do best with a female adopter. He is up-to-date on vaccines and micro chipped. I am looking for a special person for him. He truly is a love!If you are interested in adopting him contact Diane at 516-351-7594A vet references required.
