Story
Charlie is an 8 year old handsome man. For five years we have had behavioral issues with our daughter. It has gotten worse so we need to re-home. He is special needs as he has to be on special food due to urine crystals. 6lb bag cost roughly $70. We will need a yearly vet check to get a new Rx card for his good. He is a good cat just would be better off alone or with just a dog. He has been living with a pit lab for 8 years and they ignore every other. He had all his claws as well.

Story
Bud showed up in the spring and has been living outside and on our back porch since. I already have outside and inside cats and am trying to slim down. He is ok with other cats once they get used to each other. He is very friendly towards most people. He is like a gentle giant. Good cat if you don't want a real energetic cat. I had him to the vet recently. Had rabies shot, clean bill of health.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :)When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :)Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.   A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!October 2, 2024, 7:55 pm

Story
Orbit was shoved into my cat door, by someone I know, while I was sleeping. I know the situation they are in, and was constantly trying to get them to take him back. After excuses, and just plain not showing up for him. I to rehome him. From what I gather he is almost 2 years old. The pictures I have are from the previous owner. He had been here around a month & is still scared of us. Though when we do manage to catch him, he is calm while being held. He never once bit of clawed us, even though we could tell he was terrified. What probably didn't help is the fact when shoved in the cat door, our dogs have access to it & they are very hyper & loud. I would keep him, but his presence is disrupting the peace of my house and pets. Domino is now getting in fights with cats. Which he nvr did before. He even chased off my other cat Oliver. Oliver is still missing because of this. Orbit was neutered, fully vaccinated, HIV/leukemia negative, & flea free as of Oct 1 by my vet.
