Domestic Mediumhair kittens & cats in Clover, South Carolina

MEET MAGNUM!My name is Magnum and I hope you are ready for some QUALITY conversation! I am the definition of the phrase `age is just a number,` and 8 years old is still middle aged for a kitty! I am spunky, SUPER affectionate, and I will never fail to acknowledge you when you walk in the room. The second I spot you, I am just chirping away! You might not believe it now by looking at my chonky and handsome appearance, but I have really been through it. When I arrived at the shelter, I was in rough shape. I am FIV positive, and since I was living outside and not being cared for, I was suffering from a URI and had some much needed weight to gain. Luckily, my friends at YCAS made sure that I got everything I needed from medical care to a whole lot of snuggles (and snuggles are my favorite thing!) Now, I am as chipper as ever and greet every new day as an opportunity to spread joy!I have tested well with other cats, though I tend to get jealous when it comes to sharing attention. I love being carried around like a baby and will literally try to melt into your arms. Honestly, I would be content just to lay in someone`s lap all day and enjoy each others company! While I am FIV positive, I can live a long and healthy life as long as I am kept indoors and given regular vet care like any other cat! I am up to date on vaccines and preventatives, microchipped, neutered, and ready to meow my way into your heart!Complete an adoption survey at https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/petadoptionsurvey. All Adoptions require a Pre-Adoption Interview with a YCAS Adoption Counselor, a meet and greet, and adoption approval. Every adoptable cat is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1 year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. The adoption fee is $77.

MEET TAMIR!Hey everyone! My name is Tamir and I am a quiet, sweet, gentle guy with so much love to give! You wouldn`t believe it looking at me today, but this gorgeous and unique coat you see on me was in utter shambles when my shelter family first laid eyes on me. I was in so much discomfort and pain, suffering from a skin infection that caused my whole body to crust and scab. I was hurting horribly and at first, I didn`t realize the shelter staff was just there to help me! Boy, did that change! Once I started treatment, I began feeling so much better and as a thank you, I revealed not only the most beautiful fluffy, furry, cream tabby colored coat to the shelter staff... but I got to show them my true colors. Now, I am a loving and down to earth boy and the self proclaimed king of biscuits. I don`t demand attention, but I truly appreciate it. I am super laid back and prefer to enjoy a nice nap in my bed or a quiet spot to lay in comfort. Shelter staff thinks that I haven`t had too much comfort in my life, so I am soaking it all up now!Although I am FIV positive, I am all healthy now and can live a long and happy life as long as I am kept indoors and get the normal vet visits pets need, just like any other cat! My difficult days are in the past! I am up to date on vaccines, neutered, current on prevention, microchipped, and I am ready for my fresh new start with a forever family!
