Story
Meet Figgy, a beautiful black kitten with a bright spirit and energy to spare! This little girl is equal parts sunshine lover, people-watcher, and zoomie champion. If there’s a sunny spot on the floor, Figgy will find it—and if there’s something happening in the house, she’ll be observing with her curious little eyes. When she’s not curled up for a nap in a warm sunbeam, Figgy is a non-stop ball of fun. She has endless zoomies, loves interactive play, and will keep you laughing with her joyful antics. Figgy would love to be adopted with her brother Felix—they make a wonderful pair—but she’ll also thrive in a home with another friendly, playful cat to match her energy. If you want a kitten who brings sunshine, entertainment, and cuddles into your home, Figgy is your girl.

Story
Meet Felix, a handsome black kitten with a gentle heart and a love for cozy snuggles. If you’re sitting down, Felix will happily find a spot on or right beside you—he’s all about warmth, comfort, and being close to his people. Felix loves to play, especially with string toys and bouncy little balls, and he’s become fast friends with the older cat in his foster home. He’s polite, social, and easygoing, making him a great fit for many families. Felix would love to be adopted with his sister Figgy, but he’ll also do wonderfully in a home that has another friendly, playful cat to keep him company. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate kitten who balances playtime with cuddle time perfectly, Felix is your boy.

Story
Meet Skylar, a sweet grey and white tabby kitten with the softest heart and the snuggliest personality. Skylar is FeLV+, but his infection is regressive and not active, meaning he is currently healthy and feeling great. He’s thriving, playful, and full of love to give. Skylar is a true Velcro kitten. If you sit down, he’s right there in your lap. If your face is nearby, expect gentle headbutts and kisses. He purrs constantly and makes it his mission to stay close to his people at all times. Affection is his love language, and he delivers it generously. Despite his love for humans, Skylar also enjoys the company of other friendly cats and would do well with another FeLV+ cat or as an only cat soaking up all the attention. He’s playful, social, and incredibly gentle, making him an easy and joyful companion. Skylar is looking for a home that understands FeLV and is ready to offer him the love and comfort he deserves. In return, he promises endless cuddles, constant purrs, and a loyal little shadow who will adore you completely. All Spicy Whiskers cats are fully vetted, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, tested FIV/FeLV, rabies vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped before adoption.

Story
Sunisa ‘Suni’ l’Extraordinaire, named during the excitement of the 2024 Paris Olympics carries the torch for her namesake, USA gymnastics Olympic champion, Sunisa Lee. Lee is an Auburn Tiger and so is Ms. Suni (sue-knee) l’Extraordinaire with her with copper and blond auburn tiger stripes and sweet le tigre face. She is athletic and graceful and her leaps to the cat tree beam are a thing of beauty. Her feather boa tail may make her seem the diva, with that haughty flip of that floof flag and her wide-eyed gaze but she is a tough competitor. She carries her favorite prey, an eviscerated and bedraggled, dunked-in-the-drink mouse with a deep growl to ward off the siblings and flips it into the air as she plays with elaborate choreography. Try to take her photo and she comes in for a super close up. She looks deeply into your eyes telling you that she wants to be picked up, held, cuddled and kissed. She won’t stay too long, there are adventures to have and sunbeams to stretch out in and Squirrel TV to watch. This little girl loves her mama and must be adopted with her. Born: 5/2/2024 Background and Description: Suni’s mom, Lee “Mama Lee-Lee,” a small, smart, long-haired tuxedo kitty found refuge for Sunisa and her two siblings in the parking garage at the UNT Health Science Center. The kittens were taught that safety from predators, cars, (and humans who came too close) was a quick scurry into the undercarriage of the electric carts plugged in on the first floor. The kittens were taught that safety from predators, car, (and humans who came too close) was a quick scurry into the undercarriage of the electric carts plugged in on the first floor. A cat mom who had adopted her first fur baby from Meowtown was leaving the gym at the Texas Health Science Center one evening. She had recently graduated and was soon to leave to begin her residency in another state. Walking to her car, she spotted the little family in the parking garage. That feline family won the lottery that night as that med student and her med student friends made it their mission to get them safe and cared for. Story
Mikey is a chunky cuddle bug who loves to play and hunt. He has handsome tabby markings and his coat is somewhat fluffy. His favorite activity is hunting toy mice and balls. He has an adorable trait where when he catches his “prey” he grumbles and growls with the toy in his mouth so as to protect his catch from any competition (not that he ever has any). We recently found out that Mikey will play fetch with us! We can toss one of his favorite toys and he will run after it, growl as he catches the toy, and then comes back to us and drops the toy so we can toss it again. As he has gotten more comfortable with his foster family he has spent more time relaxing near us and recently has even spent a couple of nights cuddling beside us while we sleep. Even though he is affectionate he is not clingy and tends to spend most of his time exploring independently, although he does wrestle around with his siblings quite often. He is socially aware and gives space to the older cats in our household who don’t want to be bothered. There’s not a mean bone in his fluffy body! He has never scratched or bitten, nor gotten into tiffs with another cat. While he doesn’t have experience with kids or dogs yet, we believe he would do very well with them. Mikey’s lookalike sister Monica is comparatively shy about new situations so it would be nice if she could have him adopted along with her to make her transition more comfortable. He will do best in a home with another animal to play with and love on, and will make a great big brother. Born 11/30/2024 Mikey and his two siblings - Moxy and Monica - were found living together in a park. They were likely dumped there as their mother wasn’t around and they weren’t feral or afraid of humans. He came to live with his foster family in early March 2025. His foster family can’t take care of him long term due to our already having plenty of cats in the household. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!

Story
Monica is a beautiful, sweet darling with a somewhat reserved disposition. She has pretty, green/amber, “sad” eyes and gorgeous tabby markings. Her coat is somewhat fluffy. Monica looks a lot like her brother Mikey, but with a narrower, more “feminine” face. She started out as a shy girl but has blossomed into a cuddle bug. Out of her three siblings it took Monica the longest to get comfortable in her foster home, and she was more independent and slightly avoidant of us for a few weeks. However, she has always been the most energetic and playful of her siblings even when she was cautious of her new human family. Now she is just as comfortable coming to her foster parents for love and actively seeks out affection from us! She likes to greet us when we get home from work and let us know that she’s glad we’re home. Like her sister Moxy, she gives sweet kisses when getting pets and cuddles. Born 11/30/2024 Given her history of being more reserved, Monica would do best going to a home along with either her sister or her brother so that she will have a companion while she gets used to her new forever home. Monica and her two siblings - Moxy and Mikey - were found living together in a park. They were likely dumped there as their mother wasn’t around and they weren’t feral or afraid of humans.
