Story
Meet Pickles: The One and Only Cuddle Queen of 2025 Pickles is an 8-year-old tabby goddess with a heart full of love and a flair for dramatic entrancesâ&#194&#128&#194&#148seriously, she does a dolphin jump into your arms when she wants affection (which is often). She was deeply loved by her previous human, who heartbreakingly had to surrender her while prioritizing her own mental health and safety. There were many tears, and itâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s clear that Pickles has always been someoneâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s beloved girl. Now, sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s looking for her next ride-or-die. Social and sweet, Pickles thrives in the company of humans and is always down for a good snuggle. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s litterbox trained, a professional cuddle consultant, and she knows she deserves a throne (or at least a warm lap). Like many of us girlies in 2025, sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s on a gut-healing journeyâ&#194&#128&#194&#148Pickles has IBS, and her foster is working on getting her tummy tuned up and street-legal like sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s in Fast & Furious: Feline Drift. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s not into a chaotic clowder lifestyle, so sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d do best as the only cat in the home. Dogs? Fineâ&#194&#128&#194&#148as long as they give her respectful space and donâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t try to cramp her cuddle game. Pickles is the full package: beauty, personality, and the soul of a girl whoâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s ready to love hard again. Could she be your forever feline? * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Pickles, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org. Story
If there is no such thing as a perfect kitten, clearly no one told Wallace! Wallace a is playful, snuggly, curious ball of fur who is also social with other cats and dogs and gentle with humans. Wallace is equally happy frolicking with other pets, being held like a baby for tummy rubs, or chasing a feather toy. He can be goofy and is quick to purr, slow to stop and is comfortable showing and receiving affection. As if that wasnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t enough, he is litter box trained, scratching post trained, can comes when called. Sweet and gorgeous Wallace would be a great addition to a family with pets or as a easy going first pet. Wallace is FIV+. FIV is a virus that can cause a weakened immune system, but most FIV+ cats live normal lives with no difference in lifespan compared to other cats. FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds or mating, so thereâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s minimal risk to other cats in the home, especially since all DPA cats are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We recommend slow introductions when bringing home any new pet and can provide resources and guidance for a peaceful transition. Regular vet visits to detect illnesses early are important for FIV+ cats, but many FIV+ cats will live long, healthy lives with little to no symptoms. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. Story
Meet Bean, a quiet treasure with a heart full of love to give. This sweet girl is a five-year-old domestic shorthair, petite in frame and delicate in spirit. With soft fur and big, soulful eyes, sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll melt your heart without saying a word. While she may be a little shy at first, donâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t mistake her hesitance for disinterest; sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s simply taking her time to make sure youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re as kind as she is. Once she knows sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s safe, her affectionate and curious nature begins to shine through. She is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped; healthy and ready to settle into her next chapter! Bean enjoys quiet exploration and gentle companionship. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll quietly follow you from room to room or settle into a cozy spot where she can observe life around her. She has lived peacefully with a male orange tabby for the past three years and handled his occasional antics with grace, but we believe sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d be happiest as an only pet or possibly with a calm female feline friend. Her calm energy would make her a wonderful match for a relaxed household, perhaps with someone who works from home or enjoys a mellow environment. She is fully litterbox-trained and has excellent manners. Though she doesn't demand attention, she thrives on routine and will reward your patience with slow blinks, soft headbutts, and a quiet presence that fills your home with peace. She doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t need much, just time, trust, and love. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re looking for a gentle-hearted friend to share your space and earn your trust, Bean might just be your perfect match.
