Story
Meet Stella Sweetheart! Stella is a stunning long haired cream tabby with bright green eyes! This ginger girl is a rare beauty indeed (only 20% of orange cats are female). Stella's name is so fitting - she is the sweetest girl around! She is an extremely affectionate girl who loves head scratches and will push her head into your hand for more pets. She is a very easy going girl who just needs a sunny place to nap and a human to love! Stella is the perfect mixture of playful and loving! She loves all her kitty toys and likes to pounce and roll around with them. Watch her playful side here: https://youtube.com/shorts/nLRJWO73pVE?feature=share. Stella unfortunately endured a hard life before being rescued. She constantly searched for food in garbage cans just trying to survive. When the trailer park she lived in was condemned and people left, her chances of finding food became even more scarce. Despite this, she kept having litter after litter of kittens, but being extremely malnourished, she couldn’t provide for them, and tragically, most of them didn’t survive. Her motherly instincts remain strong, but since the other cats in her foster home aren’t fond of her attempts to "mother" them, she’s taken to nurturing her toys instead. She’s incredibly affectionate, especially with her foster family’s 9-year-old child, and even gets along with their 90 lb dog! While Stella is still learning how to interact with other cats, she’s eager to play and love! She is looking for a family who will continue to help her learn the finer things in life! If you’re looking for a gentle companion who enjoys relaxing and being pampered, Stella is the ultimate addition to your family! Don’t miss out on this gorgeous lady! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Oscar is a smart, friendly and sassy guy. Up until a couple of years ago he was living outside on his own and is now enjoying the comforts of also going indoors and having fosters and cat friends who love him. Oscar's exact age is unknown, but estimated to be 8-10 years old. He currently shares a space with two other cats (male and female) and gets along well with both and loves to play and snuggle with Rudy (also available to adopt!). He LOVES to play with toys and also garden with his foster Mom and hang out with her while she's working on art.    Oscar's ideal home would be one with cat savvy adopters that are used to "cat-itude". He is very friendly and loves to be around his people and to be pet but he can get sassy and a bit feisty on occasion when he's not getting his way. Having been a cat that was outside for multiple years, Oscar does enjoy the ability to go outside for short periods of time. He would be very happy having the ability to go and lounge in a very safe and secure cat-proof yard or a catio. Oscar does well with other cats with proper slow introductions, but cannot be in a home with dogs or young children (the cattitude!). He is now litterbox trained since coming into care, but can be particular about placements of litterboxes and also sharing. With multiple litterbox options he is good to go. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All available animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and treated for fleas, worms, and ear mites. All cats/kittens are tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS. Some cats have been vaccinated for rabies. Adoption fees are cash or check only. October 8, 2024, 9:18 pm

Story
Sierra is a female DMH brown tabby with white mittens. Her estimated birth date is 3-31-24. She is a beautiful girl with extremely silky fur and a plushy, full tail. Sierra is a true lovebug who melts into your chest when picked up and held. She seeks out affection with humans and enjoys cuddle time. Sierra is also a playful and content kitten! For fun, likes to be at the top of a cat tree, pounce on spring toys, or play with her pom pom. She loves her other kitten friends, so she would be happy to be adopted with one of her friends, into a home with another cat or with an owner who can provide lots of enrichment, attention, and snuggle time.   Sierra has been in a loving and safe foster home partnered with Friends For Life Animal Rescue. She has been fixed, microchipped, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, is up to date on vaccinations and, per our policy, has been treated for potential ear mites, worms and fleas.   If you think you have room in your heart and home for this adorable kitten, please contact Friends For Life Animal Rescue. Story
I was surrendered by my owners' landlord would not allow them to have me. I am a very sweet girl. They called me a lovebug. I use my litter box. I ate Meow Mix, but I would be open to trying other options. Sometimes I get little black crusties in the inner corner of my eye and sometimes I get waxy ears, but it doesn't mean I'm sick. It just happens. I love my toy balls with bells inside and feathers attached to them. I let the staff hold me and pet me. My owner said that sometimes I can get overstimulated and nibble, but I don't want to hurt you. I just need a home that will love me and cuddle me. Please fill out an application for me and call the shelter to ask to come and meet me!
