Onyx was my neighbors’ kitty who had to suddenly move out and she was unable to bring her with. She was not around other cats during that time. My partner and I thought we could help out and see if she would integrate well with our 2 cats however we believe she may belong in a single cat household as she seems very stressed not even being able to be introduced after a month of her living with us. She seems very sweet but does need to have shots and a neuter and spay done and we haven’t been successful in finding a place that can do this for her. We’re very heartbroken about not being able to keep her but we want her to have a a home where she is fully comfortable and being given undivided attention. She has been aggressive with us at times but has never genuinely hurt either of us. I would really recommend her to someone who is patient and has a lot of experience with cats.

Meet Lucas. He lived with my father from a kitten until April, 2024. My father died on Mar 30, 2024. Lucas was almost constantly by his side for the last month of his life, rarely leaving him. He is a very calm and loving cat. He lived with another cat for a couple of years before Dad died, and they were great friends. That cat was rehomed. I have moved him to our home in Wa from CA. My hope was for him to join our family of 4 cats and make us a clowder of 5. I am heartbroken that our 4 cats have not taken to him. Several hiss and growl if he even gets near. Lucas is a very well adjusted boy, and just basically minds his own business. Our other cats are becoming neurotic and testy. This simply is not working. Lucas is a gentle, loving and faithful companion. He would be ideal for a single person couple who are home and have a quiet life. I canot think of a finer kitty to become your house angel.
