Story
Mama was left when her owners moved and we moved in. She has been living outside with one of her kittens from last year. We recently got her spayed and she has decided she would like to be promoted from barn cat to indoor or indoor/outdoor cat. She is so friendly and too nice to just live out in the barn. We would bring her in, but our house is already maxed out on critters (dogs and cats!).

Story
Copper was adopted from the animal rescue fund in 2021. He is a VERY loving cat that wants affection. He loves laying on laps, being petted, catnip, and wet food. He communicates when he needs something, and really likes sticking to a schedule. He is happiest when he is with people and able to look out windows at birds (or birds on YouTube!). He has started to not get along with the other cat in the home, and, after trying several different changes, they unfortunately need to be separated. He has never been in a home with dogs, but he was in a room full of cats at the animal rescue fund.

Story
Java is a senior cat of unknown age. I think he is maybe 15 years old or more. My mother was his second owner, and she passed away in September. We thought my father would be able to care for Java and his sister, Lil' Bit, but he has just moved into a nursing home. I am looking for a stable home where Java can live out his final years. He is a gentle cat and a little skittish. He likes his own space. Kids or pets that are too young and loud will scare him, but he will just run and hide.

Story
Hi there, I’m Nate, your soon-to-be best friend and professional snuggle expert! I’m a super affectionate guy who believes there’s no such thing as too many cuddles—I’ll happily curl up in your lap and purr the day away. I’m FIV+, but that just means I have a special immune system and can still live a long, happy life with a little extra TLC. I also have something called stomatitis (a mouth condition that can be uncomfortable), and just need to come back after adoption for a quick dental surgery to keep me smiling bright. I’ve been through a lot, but I haven’t let it dull my gentle heart. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who just wants to be close to you, I’m your guy—come meet me and let’s start our forever cuddle session!

Story
Hi, I’m Maverick! I’ve been great with children and have never caused any issues around them. I haven’t had the chance to meet other animals yet, since I’ve been the only pet in my home. When I’m around strangers or in new situations, I might hide at first, but once I feel comfortable, I’ll come out to say hello. I love to run around and play with all kinds of toys, but lately I’ve also been enjoying more rest time, making me a fun and easygoing companion.

Story
Hi, I’m Darlene! I’m a sweet, senior lady who was found as a stray, and I’ve been nothing but grateful for kind humans ever since. I love calm company, soft pets, and cozy naps. I do have a heart murmur and an elevated SDMA, though my other kidney values look good—so I just need a little extra monitoring. If you’re looking for a loving, mellow companion with a tender heart, I’d love to be yours.
