Sunshine is a gorgeous female adult kitty who was originally found as a stray. A wonderful person took Sunshine in and fostered her for Misty Eyes until she was adopted. Unfortunately, the adopter ran into some hard times and had to return Sunshine to us. She really likes people and willingly checks out visitors to her home. She is a girl who likes her personal space at times, and doesn`t hesitate to let you know when she wants to be left alone. For that reason, she would do best in a home with older children who can understand her signals. She is not fond of other animals -- she wants all the love and attention for herself -- so will need to be an only furkid. She has great house manners and can be a cuddle-cat when she`s in the mood! Hope couldn`t decide whether to be a calico cat or a tiger kitty! She was surrendered to Misty Eyes due to her owner`s allergies. She is a friendly, playful girl who will make a great companion. She has good litterbox manners, is playful and enjoys a cat tree with a scratching post. She is living with other cats in her foster home, but would be happiest as the ONLY KITTY! She doesn`t `show` well initially because she gets very stressed in new places. After about 24 hours, though, she is friendly and affectionate -- on her terms. She is not a lap kitty and doesn`t enjoy being held, but she may lay beside her person and enjoy a chin scratch or two. Marge came to Misty Eyes as a pregnant mom looking for a safe place to have her kittens. She has fulfillled her mom duties and is ready for her own forever home. Marge is a pretty black-and-white cat, about 2 years old, with the cutest little white mustache. She is a sturdy gal -- she does like her food -- and she might be a little much for anyone with mobility issues. She`s a very low maintenance kitty...she doesn`t damage furniture, get up on counters or make much noise. She does have a history of not eating when she`s stressed, so she will need time in her new home to become comfortable. She does not like to be picked up, but enjoys being nearby and getting pets. This sweet boy has been here since early November, when we pulled him from Home for Friendless Animals in Waynetown, IN. We pulled twelve cats total, as they are going to lose their facility soon, and he is the last one that hasn't been adopted. Asher is approx 1.5 years old. He can be shy at first, but once he warms up to you he loves to talk, make biscuits, and cuddle. He LOVES wet food and treats, and a Churus would make you an instant friend to him.
