Story
Hope is a pretty little calico girl who was surrendered to Misty Eyes due to her owner's allergies. She is a friendly, playful kitty who will make a great companion. She has good litterbox manners, is playful and enjoys a cat tree with a scratching post. She is living with other cats in her foster home, but would be happiest as the only kitty! She doesn't "show" well initially because she gets very stressed in new places. After about 24 hours, though, she is friendly and affectionate -- on her terms. She is not a lap kitty and doesn't enjoy being held, but she may lay beside her person and enjoy a chin scratch or two. If you'd like to know more about Hope, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
Are you one of those people who like cats, but don't necessarily want an in-your-face affectionate, pushy kitty? If so, meet Lucy Belle. She's a 5-year-old buff female tabby cat who came to Misty Eyes after her owner passed away. It took some time for her to adjust after the heartbreak of losing her family. In time, though, she learned to trust and enjoys hanging out in the same room as her people. She will occasionally deign to hop up and take a nap with her foster mom. She also enjoys being petted, but on her terms, and she will let you know when she's done. She doesn't appreciate the company of other cats, so will need to be the only cat in the home. She has great litterbox habits and adores canned/wet food. If you would like a kitty to be your companion without walking all over your computer or constantly invading your lap, Lucy Belle is a loyal, satisfied-to-be-nearby type of cat. Please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
Hope is a pretty tiger female cat, and she is not a kitty who likes much human contact. She gets along fine with other cats, but is not welcoming to humans. She is looking for a forever home, perhaps as a shop-kitty, where she can remain an indoor kitty, but not be expected to interact with people very much. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and FIV/FeLV negative. If you might have a place in your home or business for a cat who just wants to hang out without much interaction, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
Juju was surrendered to Misty Eyes after her owner passed away, and the family would not care for her. She is not a lap cat, but is nighttime snuggler. She does take some time to get used to new people and surroundings. She will pick a safe place where she can go when she feels insecure. She would prefer to be the only cat in the home and, with patience, is a sweet, loving companion. She has great litterbox habits, uses her scratching post rather than the furniture and enjoys a cat tree near a window. Juju does take daily thyroid medication, which is relatively inexpensive. If you'd like to know more about Juju, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
Ladybug is a shy, but happy, kitty who came to Misty Eyes when pregnant. She's raised her kittens, plus a couple of orphans, and is now ready to find a forever home of her own. Ladybug is shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she's a very loving and fun companion. She enjoys rolling around on the floor, playing with toys and asking for tummy rubs. She'll sit/lie beside you and get her purr motor going, but she's not quite ready to sit on your lap and cuddle. She will sometimes give little love nips to get your attention. Since she's raised her kittens and several others, Ladybug has decided that she's over all the attention sharing, and would really like to be the only kitty in the home. If you'd like to meet Ladybug, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.
