Kermit was adopted as a kitten in 2015 from an animal shelter. He is a sweet cat that gets along well with his cat brother Po and dog brother. I would like to keep Kermit and Po together as they like to play with each other and snuggle up from time to time. Kermit can be skittish at times and especially around other dogs and cats. Kermit’s new family must not have any other animals. Kermit is really good with babies/toddlers. He loves being close to them and is really gentle with them.

Meet Evee, Despite her age, she is a playful girl. She would do well in a house with older kids, as she has a kitten mentality and likes to play rowdy, but since she has no teeth it is not bad! She is very respectful of furniture and household good and only uses her claws for playtime and for the cat scratcher. She takes a bit to warm up to other cats and calm dogs, but once she does, she likes to play with them.  This gal is partially blind, so she would not do well being with other pets that are high energy. She does have allergies and needs an allergy shot every 6 weeks and an allergy pill (over the counter Benadryl or similar) every day. Misty came into our lives in October 2022 with a broken back leg, the result of an encounter in a parking lot. This experience left her deeply fearful of people and the world around her. Shortly after her arrival, Misty had a seizure, which we had our veterinarians assess and it has not been ongoing. This incident further closed her off from the world. But I was determined not to give up on her. While Misty can still be a bit fearful in some cases she really has made so much progress overall. Misty has even met some of my friends who spent the night to see how she would react. She eagerly sought their affection and attention, especially enjoying gentle chin scratches. She's been a wonderful companion to my husband and resident cat, although I'd recommend a home without dogs (unless the dog completely ignores her) or young children. It will take her time to cozy up to another cat but eventually, she was able to with my resident cat. Misty needs a special someone who will honor her boundaries and continue to help her blossom. While she's made incredible progress, she can still be a bit cautious in new situations. Her ideal home would be a peaceful one, perhaps with another cat, where she can bask by an open window, observing the world outside. She'd thrive with someone who enjoys cozying up on the couch with a good book or a captivating show. Misty is an incredibly sweet girl who, given the chance, will bring immeasurable joy to your life. She's been my most challenging foster to date, and I couldn't be happier to share this post because she deserves the very best home, where she can continue to share her boundless love.  October 4, 2023, 7:14 pm
