Story
Meet Miss Jeep! Miss Jeep got her name from her very first escapade at the shelter-- upon being carefully carried out of the car, she decided to wiggle free and get herself stuck under another car in the parking lot. That car was a Jeep (of course). After thirty perilous minutes, she finally decided she was ready for the indoor life.Miss Jeep decided that was enough adventure for the rest of her life. Now, she mostly lays around and watches people pass by with a judgy glare. She has resting `I don`t care about you` face. There`s no mean bone in her body, but there might not be any affectionate ones either.Dogs, cats, kids, whatever. Miss Jeep will climb atop her perch and judge them all. If you`ve been wanting a roommate that only comes to you for food and a clean litterbox, look no further-- Miss Jeep is here waiting for you.

Story
Meet Keke! Keke used to be an outside girl, but after a nice family took her in for the winter storm, she`s decided she`s over that life. From her short vacation before arriving with us, we`ve learned a few things about her. Keke does NOT like other cats. She coexisted well with a small child and a dog, mostly just keeping to herself. Keke is a litterbox pro and is a very tidy girl.Keke can also get overstimulated pretty easily sometimes. Although she tolerated the young child in the home petting her all over, here in the shelter she has shown some issues with being poked and prodded too much. A quieter home might be best for her. She also doesn`t enjoy being picked up and carried longer than what it would take to move her somewhere. If you have a (relatively) calm home and a little bit of patience, Keke would love to be your new best friend!

Meet Dorothy! As far as we know, Dorothy lived outside most her life until someone found her outside during a big snowstorm.Dorothy was in rough shape when she first arrived a few weeks ago but now, she`s ready to start her new warm indoor life! From what our staff observed Dorothy seems to do well with other cats, but we`re not sure about dogs (a slow introduction is ALWAYS recommended!). Dorothy also seems to LOVE toys! As soon as she started feeling better, she was ready to play! You`ll probably see 3 things from Dorothy: eating, playing, sleeping.

Story
Meet Leroy! Leroy came to us as a sick stray cat that had been living outside for a while. Coming into a shelter environment can already be scary for cats, and when twice-daily medications are added onto that, some can become fearful of people. Leroy is one of those cases.Leroy is a small boy, but his teeth show that he is at least one year old and had been fending for himself for a while. While he can be a little scared of people at first, he is really sweet once he warms up to someone. If given treats and a lot of patience, he really leans into scratches and attention. He doesn`t mind being picked up but isn`t a huge fan of being carried for a long time.Leroy will need a calm and patient home. He may like to hide when he is first brought into a new space. He has gotten along with other cats through cages in our adoption room, but would prefer to be kept separate from any resident animals while he gets comfortable in his new space. If you have room in your heart and home for a timid guy like Leroy, come meet him today! He`s waiting for you (probably in his cave bed).

Story
Meet Breeze! In her previous home, Breeze coexisted well with her cat companion until he started getting up in years. Eventually, her previous owners realized that Breeze would be better suited for a single-cat home where she can soak up all the attention for herself. But don`t let that distract you from how great of a cat she is! Breeze is a very smart and well-mannered kitty; she does great in a carrier, is good with children, and is okay being alone while her people are at work. Her purrfect home would be one where she could be the only cat with plenty of love, cat towers, and soft places to nap. Could Breeze be the girl for you?
