Story
Say hello to Sugar Mama! This sweet girl is around 2.5 years old and weighs around 8 pounds. Though Sugar Mama is shy, she is also incredibly sweet. It will take her a little time to settle into a new environment, but once she does she will show you her heart of gold! As long as you promise to give her lots of pets and scratches, she will be your best friend! Sugar Mama would do best in a calmer household who will be okay with her needing a little space to get comfortable. If you are looking for a lower energy and super affectionate kitty, she may be the one for you! Sugar Mama is fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $75. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, up to date on flea and tick preventative, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. All adults are combo tested; for some litters of kittens who have not been exposed to other cats, only one kitten in the litter may be tested. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and helps us continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the pet you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
This duo of cuteness is as sweet as they are playful! Sweetie Pie and Sugar Plum are roughly 9 months old and are spunky, cuddly, and beyond entertaining. They are the life of the party and want to create fun everywhere they go. They are fostered with other cats, small dogs, and a toddler, and have been absolutely fabulous at making friends with everyone. Though they are friendly with everyone, they are best friends and spend a good chunk of their day playing, chasing, and snoozing together! They are your typical high energy kittens and think everything is a toy. They will need a family who is okay with the action as they can create quite the kitten whirlwind! When they are all tuckered out, they do love to cuddle up for a good nap. Sugar Plum believes she is part parrot and enjoys perching on her human's shoulders from time to time, while Sweetie Pie prefers your lap. They are used to being held and loved on and will happily accept your attention! At nighttime, they are likely to snuggle up with you in bed and invade your personal space. These sweet kittens are litter box trained and are ready to steal your heart! If you are interested in making one (or two) of them a part of your forever family, apply today! They are fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. The adoption fee for one kitten is $75.00. Kittens are only adopted in pairs or to homes with other friendly, social cats. They are very social by nature and need to be with other cats for their socialization. Sweetie Pie's adoption fee is $75; to adopt a pair of kittens, the combined adoption fee is $110.00. Story
Meet Seussie! She is a 1.5-year-old, 7lb dilute calico, domestic shorthair cat who is the matriarch of the “Seussical” bunch. Seussie was found caring for 4 tiny kittens, but with no one to care for her. Barely more than a kitten herself, Seussie was still an excellent momma! She was so attentive and loving. She successfully raised all four of them to be strong and healthy. Seussie could have won the award for World’s Best Mom! Since Seussie was very concerned with protecting her babies, she has not spent much time with other animals, so she would require slow introductions if you already have other pets in your home. She LOVES her daughter Gertrude so we are confident she could get along with other kitties eventually, but she is not fond of the dogs in her foster home. She thinks cats rule and dogs drool and we haven’t been able to change her mind yet. After being such a good momma, Seussie deserves a life where she can relax and be the pampered princess she was born to be! This petite, rare beauty is not just gorgeous but she is also polite! She always uses her litter box and scratching post. She will lay next to you and will come out for attention and pets, but she is not a fan of being picked up. She is a sassy, sweet and affectionate kitty but on her own terms! She is an independent girl who will let you know when she would like to interact. If you are looking for a cute, little calico that is sugar and spice and everything nice, Seussie is the right cat for you! Like Dr. Seuss once said, “Why fit in when you were born to stand out?” Seussie is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $75.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, up to date on flea and tick preventative, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination.
